What an unforgettable weekend at Wings Over Batavia! @wobairshow Before the main airshow took flight, the Discovery Zone was buzzing. We had an absolute blast partnering alongside the amazing crew at @cnydrones to introduce crowds to the world of drones, flight, and drone soccer. While CNY Drones got hands-on teaching flight fundamentals, we handed over the sticks so future pilots could test their skills on our brand-new drone soccer simulator. Watching kids and adults grab the controls, pick up the rhythm, and start scoring goals was incredible. Then, once the Discovery Zone wrapped up and we packed down the simulator, the real spectacle began. A massive salute to the incredible airshow performers who took to the skies! The sheer precision, horsepower, and showmanship on display were off the charts—pure aviation mastery from start to finish. Getting to spend the day inspiring the next generation of pilots on the ground and then looking up to watch legends own the sky made the entire weekend truly special. Huge thank you to everyone who came out, stopped by our booth, and took flight with us. Did you stop by the Discovery Zone this weekend? Let us know how your flight went below! 🎮👇 #dronesoccer #drone #airshow #steam #stem

It's only April, and the Battle At the Beach is already looking like it's going to be the best National Championship yet! With four Districts' championships in the books (II, III, VI and X) we're seeing an amazing mix of veteran powerhouses and extremely talented newcomers making it through to the Big Show in May. But we're not even halfway there -- there's a TON more competition ahead of us in April beginning with the District IX Qualifier hosted by Falcon Aerolab this Saturday. We'll post updates here as the results come in! #THISIsDroneSoccer.

With the U.S. Drone Soccer 2025 National Championship now slated to host an unprecedented 24 teams from across the USA, this will be our biggest, most exciting competition ever. That's why we're incredibly proud to announce that the U.S. Drone Soccer 2025 National Championship will be held at the Skydome in Rome, New York! The Skydome is Oneida County's Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Test Site and is the largest indoor Anechoic Chambered Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) experimentation facility in the United States. The U.S. Drone Soccer mission continues to be inspiring students to pursue education and careers in aerospace and science; and there's simply no location more inspiring than Skydome. Competing teams visiting Skydome will see real-world applications of career pathways in aviation, aerospace, and UAS research. Students will be exposed to drone swarm technology, quantum computing, and artificial intelligence in autonomous advanced navigation systems. The U.S. Drone Soccer 2025 National Championship will build real world skills, establish definitive National rankings and the top 2 finishing teams will be invited to the FAI F9A 2025 World Drone Soccer Championship in Shenzhen China, November 2, 2025! #THISIsDroneSoccer #DestinationSkydome

This past weekend the NYPD Youth Strategies Division #dronesoccer team “The Blue Flyers” hosted the @usdronesoccer District II Drone Soccer #Championship at the NYPD Police Academy. Four local teams were competing to be crowned the winner of New York City, so they can advance to the next level for a spot at the Championship this weekend in Upstate, NY! The games were intensely competitive, with several sudden death rounds having to be played, but ultimately Opus Academy was the winner! We are proud to say that this marks the second year in a row that the NYPD Drone Soccer Team and the Youth Strategies Division has hosted the US Drone Soccer District II Championship. The NYPD is the only Police Department in the entire United States of America to have a Drone Soccer Team! We would like to thank our very own Commissioner Stewart and Inspector Malcolm, Sgt. Hines, along with the NYPD Police Academy, Guy and everyone at the US Drone Soccer League, the NYC Police Foundation for sponsoring our team, Det. Boone for curating our uniform tops, the parents, educators, volunteers, and everyone else who helped make this all possible for the kids! Everyone was a winner that day, and we look forward to expanding our program across the city, so we can allow everyone to experience this next level program!

This summer has been a busy one for drone soccer, with events, demos and competitions occurring all over the country. And when it comes to keeping the action going, @cnydrones is always at the front of the pack. If your drone soccer team is in District II, you probably already know this - but in case you didn't, reach out to them-- they usually have something exciting in the works almost every weekend (like this Air & Space STEM Outreach event at @sunypoly) #ThisIsDroneSoccer #SummerSeries #dronesports @sunypolyamaclub #STEM
