22 Years Ago Today…

At 17 years old, I became a mother. While most of my peers were focused on their junior year of high school, I was navigating doctor’s appointments alone, checkups alone, and the overwhelming unknown of how to take care of myself while also preparing to take care of a tiny human who would rely on me for everything.

Nothing could have prepared me for the moment I first held my daughter. That day was both terrifying and life-changing. She came into this world early, just 5 pounds 8 ounces, and yet she was a fighter from the very beginning. I can still hear the doctor’s words telling me how strong my little girl was, and how strong I was too.

It wasn’t easy. I didn’t have much of a support system. I was scared of failing her. But that moment marked the beginning of an entirely new chapter: stepping into motherhood with nothing but hope, determination, and love.

For 22 years, I strive to give her a life better than mine. I know I know i have made many mistakes along the way. My kids are my reason I found my strength. What once felt like the hardest road became the greatest blessing of my life.

To every young mother who feels scared and alone: you are stronger than you realize, and the love you carry will guide you through the darkest of days. 💕

Happy 22nd Birthday to my oldest beautiful daughter! 🧡🧡 Constancia Lopez

I can still remember the day you came into this world when I was just 17 yrs old. Becoming your mom changed my life forever you gave me purpose, direction, and a love deeper than I ever imagined. From that moment on, you’ve been my greatest blessing.

Over these 22 years, I’ve had the honor of watching you grow into the incredible, strong, and resilient woman you are today. You’ve faced challenges that many will never experience, and yet, you’ve risen above each one with courage, grace, and integrity. You inspire me every single day.

I am beyond proud to be your mother and your biggest cheerleader. Watching you shine, accomplish your goals, and step boldly into your future fills my heart with joy and gratitude.

Here’s to celebrating you today, and every day my daughter, my pride, my purpose. I love you endlessly. 🧡
