POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My mom always asks me to be safe, and I do take that seriously. I train for the challenges I choose, check the conditions, and don’t take on terrain I’m unprepared for. Some trails still carry risk, but this wasn’t a blind gamble, it was a challenge I had prepared for. And if I ever feel out of my depth, I turn back. ❤️

ELLINGWOOD POINT & BLANCA PEAK | Sept. 10th✨️

Wow….these were by far the toughest, hardest, most grueling 14ers I’ve ever done. I reached my breaking point physically and mentally on these.

We started at 2 AM from the Zapata Falls TH because the Lake Como Road is way too gnarly to drive. From there, it was 14.5 miles round trip, 7,000 ft of elevation gain, and 15.5 HOURS to complete!

Once you hit about 5 miles in, it’s a straight up climb to the top of Ellingwood Point. The climb was insanely steep and covered in loose scree. We literally had to use our hands to climb up, and there were sections where you could barely stand without sliding or falling back down the mountain.

Once you reach the top of Ellingwood Point, you drop about 300ft to climb another 750ft to summit Blanca Peak. Then you have to climb down to go back up to Ellingwood…so technically, we summited Ellingwood twice lol.

After that came the longest boulder field of loose rock, followed by the most brutal scree field I’ve ever experienced. Some parts you could not stand. We were basically sliding down the mountain. There was no relaxing on this one.😅

By this point, I was absolutely DONE. My feet were covered in blisters, I was in so much pain coming down, and I was literally dragging myself down the trail. It felt like the trail was never going to end.

I reached a point where I had to lay down just to recover. And yes… I absolutely flipped off the peaks because I was SO over it. 😂🖕🏼I’ve never felt so defeated after a hike.

But damn…the views. 😍 These were easily some of my favorite views I’ve seen. The Sangre de Cristo Range is absolutely incredible, and you get views of so many other 14ers at the top!

As brutal as these were, I’m proud as hell that I finished them. And I’m very glad I knocked these out because I can confidently say I will never hike/climb them again lol!

Blanca Peak — 14,350 ft | Class 3

And with that…THAT’S A WRAP ON THE 2026 14ER SEASON! I climbed 12 14ers this summer🙌🏻

SAN LUIS PEAK | August 27th | 14er #36✨

After hiking so many difficult 14ers, it was time for something chill. A good ol’ Class 1. I honestly forgot how easy Class 1s were after hiking so many Class 3s, and two Class 4s this summer!

But this 14er was extra special… because my girl TATTOOED ME ON TOP OF SAN LUIS PEAK! 🤯🔥
I got a freaking mountain tattoo on top of a 14er!!!

It was about damn time I got a mountain tattoo, and honestly… could there be a more perfect place to get it?!

My absolute favorite thing to do is hike 14ers, so having a permanent reminder of these mountains inked into my skin at the summit of one is pretty damn legendary.❤️

I don’t know anyone else who has been tattooed on top of a 14er… do you?! 👀

CAPITAL PEAK BABIIII | PART 1 | Aug 20th | 14er #35

I summited one of the hardest most dangerous 14er in the state!!!!

Wowowowow, this was seriously the most epic 14er I’ve ever done and is officially my ultimate favorite climb!🙌🏻

7 years ago, when I first started my 14er journey, I told myself I would summit Capital Peak one day… and now I finally did it! The views were absolutely incredible! And the sunrise sheesh unreal!

My 2nd Class 4! We backpacked 6 miles in and set up camp at Capital Lake Wednesday evening, then woke up at 5am Thursday morning to start this insane climb. It took us 5 hours to summit just 2.85 miles, with 3,770 ft of elevation gain from Capital Lake.

We also got caught in two thunder/lightning storms 😅 The elevation gain is gnarly, and once you reach the saddle, it turns into a full on climb. And the Knife Edge… hahaha OMG. The craziest thing I’ve ever done, and I loved every second of it!

I will say, this was easily one of the longest and toughest 14ers I’ve ever done. And that boulder field… my god, it felt never ending! Capital almost broke me physically & mentally.

S/O to the best 14er partners, Andy & Chris! We absolutely crushed it and worked together to get this one done. Wouldn’t have wanted to climb it with anyone else. Dream team!

I’ll be posting all the videos from the journey, including the Knife Edge! I can’t wait to share the videos from the craziest climb of my life! 😍

There are sunrises… and then there are Maroon Bells sunrises in the fall!

Colorado has a way of making you stop and wonder if places this beautiful can actually be real. And autumn at the Maroon Bells is a pretty convincing argument that they can.

Stop measuring your progress by how far you still have to go. There was once a version of you who would have been proud just to be standing where you are right now. Keep going!

Sometimes you gotta play tourist in your own little town 🥰

Last week was my first time EVER visiting the famous Troll, Isak, with an extended hike up Aspen Alley to take in the Colorado Gold. We followed up this morning frolic with a delicious treat from downtown favorite @thecrownbreckenridge ☕️

Later I got to enjoy a gorgeous meal at our newly Michelin Recommended neighborhood restaurant @rootstalkbreck with great friends - no better way to spend an evening 💖

The next day, I adventured through our first real sight of snow this season at 14,000 feet and celebrated with a nightcap at the @hotelalpenrock secret speakeasy 🤫 (a Pumpkin Spice Martini is basically a PSL, right?)

Forever blessed to call the Kingdom of Breckenridge home 🏔️✨

They say you come for the winter and stay for the summer, but I think we’re all really here for the magical Fall ;)

In town to enjoy the beautiful Fall scenery? Stop by to say hi, see what’s new, and maybe get a recommendation or two from our wee little staff on our favorite places around town 🏘️

See you soon!
