Yesterday I went into @toyteclifts fully expecting to have my rear springs swapped out from the HD springs I had installed earlier this year. The reason why I was swapping was the weight reduction after I removed my 3rd row seating to better accommodate my camping trunk and sleeping platform. In my mind, my rear was sitting too high and my ride stiffened so going back to regular springs made sense. When I got to the shop, Hugo took me on two test drives in two of their rigs. One to help me feel what truly stiff springs actually drive like and the second to feel what overweighted and soft springs drive like. In the end we left my current HD springs installed. They could have easily taken my money and installed different parts but instead they took the time to educate me and let me know my current setup is exactly where it needs to be. This is a large part of the reason why I’m proud to represent and be part of the Toytec family 🤘🏼 Huge thanks to @raccoon_t4r & @dole_n for always being honest and taking the best care of me and my rig, you guys are truly the best in the business! #toyteclifts #offroadsuspension #toyotaoffroad #4runner @toyteclifts Use code 303stockrunner10 Build List @toyteclifts Boss 2.5 Performance Suspension System @jbaoffroad UCAs & ball joints @durobumps Bumpstops @falkentire Wildpeak AT3s 265/70/17 @rcioffroad Steel skid plates, sliders, Pike front bumper with wings @hereticstudio 30” Amber light bar @prinsuracks Prinsu Pro roof rack @roamadventureco 95l rugged case @arb4x4usa Tred Pro recovery boards & portable air compressor @powertrays Auxbeam powertray electrical mount @auxbeamlighting fogs & 8 gang switch panel @coloradocampingsolutions Slimline trunk box & sleeping platform

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of the 2026 Rocky Mountain Toyota Roundup. This is not the post we ever wanted to write. Over the past several days, our team explored every possible option to keep this year's event alive. We looked at alternatives, discussed contingency plans, and exhausted every idea. In the end, the lack of an event HQ, ongoing Highway 550 closures, and the uncertainty surrounding the situation made it clear this was the only reasonable decision. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the fire. Hundreds of local residents have been forced to evacuate, and tourism to the area has declined significantly. To every firefighter, emergency responder, law enforcement officer, and support crew—thank you for your courage and sacrifice. We wish you all safety as you continue your important work. If your travel plans still allow, we encourage you to visit Ouray and the surrounding communities when it is safe to do so. One of the best ways we can support the people who have welcomed us for so many years is by continuing to support their local businesses. The San Juan Mountains are a special place to all of us, and we want to do our part to help these communities recover. To our attendees, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. We know how much that week means to our community because it means the world to us. To our sponsors and trail leaders, thank you for believing in this event. Your continued support, generosity, and commitment—especially those already planning to return in 2027—remind us just how special this community is. While this year's Roundup won't happen, this is only a pause. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of the Rocky Mountain Toyota Roundup family. Please keep those affected by the wildfire—and the firefighters and emergency crews protecting our communities—in your thoughts. Stay safe, and we'll see you on the trails in 2027. ❤️⛰️ Adam, James, Eric, Kathy, Hugo, Alina, Grace, David

Ok—I can finally take a minute to share my experience with the @rmtoyotaroundup and what a week! Long post ahead... . For those who know me, it’s no secret that I love my 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser and that I’m a lifelong fan of @toyota . Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to be in Ouray, Colorado, hosting the Rocky Mountain Toyota Roundup—my passion project that I’ve dedicated the past year to bringing to life. . From creating a 44-page event guide to designing the event logo and its variations across five shirt designs, two hoodies, two hats, four banners, duffle bags, Koozies, lanyards, name badges, patches, stickers, tumblers, keychains, and even a Croc “jibbitz”—I stayed busy making sure our attendees received the coolest merch and swag bags around. . This was our third year, and I’m proud to say we secured 25 event sponsors—up from just nine our first year. Several even reached out to us directly, wanting to be part of the experience. We were especially excited to have @toyotausa return as a sponsor, and to welcome @optimabatteries on board for the first time. . Over 300 people and 180 trucks joined us for three and a half days packed with 50+ trail runs, catered dinners, and a Friday night hangout with our sponsors—complete with a live band. . Seeing the smiles on the faces of attendees and sponsors—and hearing how much fun they’re having—makes every hour spent planning this event feel incredibly worthwhile. . This can’t happen without the awesome support of the Roundup team and everything they do—Adam Durazo, @jimmybuffettoffroad , @emwdross , @raccoon_t4r , @alinaoutdoors and this year, @co4thgen and how he just stepped in and supported ALL of us. 🫶 . One of the most special moments was watching my daughter, @graceeklocke , step into the role of photographer, head out on the trails, and capture some truly incredible shots. I’m so proud of her.❤️ . #toyota #offroad #teamworkmakesthedreamwork #event #colorado #fjcruiser
