Introducing The Art of Journaling 🌿

We spend so much time working on our bodies. But how often do we slow down enough to listen to them?

Our newest program just dropped inside the Primal Membership: The Art of Journaling, a 12-week Primal Stillness practice.

Coach Karlee will guide you through a weekly practice combining journaling, mindset work, breath work, and movement to help you slow down, tune in, and reconnect with yourself. Each practice offers a different way to explore your thoughts, build awareness, and bring what you discover back into your body through a few minutes of freestyle movement..

Some weeks, you’ll dump everything out of your head. Some weeks, you’ll move first and write after. Some weeks, you’ll simply practice gratitude.

Each practice takes about 15 minutes. Do it on your own time, at your own pace, wherever you are. Outside is even better. ☀️

There’s no pressure to get it “right.” Just a little time to slow down, tune in, and create some space between you and the noise.

We’re learning to decompress the mind and cultivate peace and presence through the simple practice of journaling.

And that’s just one piece of the membership.

Inside, you’ll also find guided movement, strength training, lifestyle practices around breath, rest, and nature, and a community of coaches and people doing the same work.

Because taking care of yourself goes beyond your workouts. It’s how you move, how you rest, and how you show up for your life.

Whether you want to move without pain, build real strength, or feel more connected to yourself, there’s a place for you here.

Come as you are. We’ll meet you there.

🌿 Join us at primalmovement.org and start your practice today.

Another movement snack for y’all to play with. Give this a try, especially if you’re carrying any tightness or discomfort around the hips and low back region. Start with hitting each movement for 30 second and progress from there. Full send would be 2 minutes in each position. Let me know how it felt in the comments below ♾️

I #BEARCRAWL DAILY, usually morning & evening, from one end of our home to the other & back. IN the house. People hear me say if I could only do one #exercise, this would be it. #Crawling does so much in one exercise: toning, core, strength, flexibility, mobility. Coach Karlee Owens @coach.karlee features it a lot, as shown here. Really, it’s not weird, inside or outside the house. 😎 #TakeCareOfYourself

BACK-TO-SCHOOL Series Day 11 Meet: @ali_kathryn 💗

I met Ali through @primal.bam @primalmovementofficial a few years ago. Since then, she’s become a SŌL Chef Extraordinaire and Primal Movement instructor at our School of Lunch Training Academy. She’s a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She’s also a badass skateboarder!

Ali beautifully reminds us that healthy habits start with us. When we model them, we lay the groundwork for our children to follow.

As SŌL instructor @holistichilda always says, “More is caught than taught.”

Don’t be afraid to look at your own habits, tweak, improve and evolve. No judgment. No perfectionism.

Now I’m just hoping @primalmovementofficial Thursday nights with Ali at my house are coming soon! 🤞🏼💗
