A Southside year!

🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Every time these kids step on that court, it’s a war. People hate on them because they see where this group is going, they’re terrified of their potential.

I used to spend nights trying to figure out how to beat Southside. Now watching Jordan fight right alongside these boys, I get it. The brotherhood they’ve built through every battle is just different.

Huge shoutout to the coaches for believing in Jordan and the team from day one, holding them accountable, and constantly pushing them to reach that next level.

We aren’t stopping. 🏀⚔️

Second place in the AAU Division 1 5th Grade National Championship… But don’t let the silver fool you.

We came in as the ONLY CANADIAN team out of many to reach the finals and proved we belonged on that stage. We battled through adversity, hostile environments, and moments that tested more than just our basketball. From accusations 💰 to unnecessary physicality 🤦🏿‍♂️, our boys stayed composed and continued to compete the right way🐺🫡

No excuses. No backing down‼️. Just heart‼️.

This tournament reminded us that when you’re making noise, people will always have something to say. We’d rather be talked about than overlooked.

To our players, thank you for your resilience, your toughness, and your commitment to one another. To our parents, families, and supporters, thank you for believing in this journey and standing behind US every step of the way.

We didn’t bring home the gold, but we earned something just as valuable: RESPECT‼️🎯.

Canada showed up. Southside Elite made a statement.

This isn’t the end of the story. It’s the beginning of what’s to come.

Although we came up just 2 points short of the championship, the journey speaks for itself. The YoungFellaz continue to show what happens when you trust the process, stay locked in, and push through adversity.
Every setback is part of the growth, and this is only the beginning. Proud of this group and the fight they showed all weekend. We’ll learn, grow, and come back even stronger.

We’ll be back, Adidas. 🫡🏀
