More USPSA fun in the sun. Ironsite production division with my Sarsilmaz 9 gen 3 from @sarusa_official. Thanks @coach_brad_outside for mentoring me in all this. In January I never owned one and now I’m doing my first competition!

Here’s a peek inside the first ever @njfilmexpo!

We were some of the first ones there and the energy was unreal. Got to see Jules from the movie Jules (filmed right in Boonton!), ran into David Schoner from the NJ Motion Picture & TV Commission, and met so many awesome people, including a filmmaker who used to live in Boonton@and my friend Brad waiting in line! Such a fun event, I learned so much, and I am truly inspired.

Big thanks to Tracy for inviting me to “Lucy & Ethel Take on the Movies”! Big thanks to the Screen Alliance of NJ for not only creating this wonderful event, but bringing the movies to New Jersey!

Post-workout sweat? Nah, we prefer ice water. The USC speak your mind #IceBucketChallenge—
Because mental health is just as important as physical health.

Let’s keep the convo (and the cold water) flowing. Who’s next - Brad, Liane and Aidan - you have 24 hours.

We will miss you @spartanfitnessdoc! You taught many Spartan coaches how to lead well and do their burpees to the fullest. You fought your battle with pancreatic cancer to the very end. Honored to have served alongside you and learned from you.

✨Vermont as fuck ✨

Happy non-race moments:
• so many hugs and all the vibes during packet pickup Friday. @coach_brad_outside is the realest of reals (and was there pretty much immediately when I DNFed to help the BIG FEELS land), reconnecting with @ninjaturtlejjay & finally meeting @hairon_rojas on the mountain was everything.
• riding up with @coachnick_nyc from Brooklyn! Killer diner food, a gorgeous stop at the Vermont Visitor Center for some contra music and snax, burpees, all the laughs!
• sunflowers. I will always love you.
• cold plunging at one of my fave little streams a few times, and getting to introduce some of B-Haus to the spot. iykyk.
• B-Haus!!! @ocryoda - can’t say enough good things about the vibe you’ve curated. Best cabin ever.
• alsooo shoutout to Asa for coordinating the raffle at Lookout! It was so wonderful seeing all the @spartan memorabilia as well as getting to take home a piece of race history. The Vermont community is still bouncing back from an abnormally wet season, and it was really special seeing our community give back to Spartan’s home base.

I may not have gotten the race result I wanted, but I got the race I needed - and the weekend I needed.

Love you all, as much as I love glitter.
If not more.

Had a blast running Savage Race! Failed 4 obstacles, including the rig, the log thing, that weird plank thing, and the wall grips. But happy that we got through it! Also video credits to @chucknees !

OMFG what fun! @thisiswarx was an awesome event! I can't believe it is so small. These obstacles were 🔥...literally 🤣. If you check it out, it's easy to see why an event like this doesn't exist outside of middle America.

Only 3 of us SoCal guys from @spartanracetravelgroup went...but we filled the Airbnb with a handful of East Coast members that we'd never met. It's expensive to get to from SoCal, so I need to be peer-pressured into going again, but for anyone on the fence...you gotta do it at least once before it goes the way of IMR 😬. I never got to do that one 😭.

One of the pics is almost #warxrated 🫣. Those shorts were 5" at the top of the slide but -2" at the bottom . I'll post videos in my stories over the next week or so.
