Best way to think about it in relation to other sports (1) Kick a soccer ball with your inside foot ⚽️ (2) Hockey stop with the outside foot 🏒(3) Swing your hips like you’re driving to the hoop 🏀

Talent gets you recruited.

Reliability gets you on the field.

At the Division I level, everyone was talented enough to get there. What separates the guys who actually play is consistency.

Can your coaches trust you to show up every day?
Can you execute when you’re tired?
Can you do your job when nobody’s watching?
Can you stack good days for months instead of having one great week?

Talent might get your name on the roster.

Consistency is what keeps your name in the lineup.
