“I know, firsthand, that soccer brings people together – all it takes is a ball and a few people, and the seeds of friendship are planted.”
-Ali Krieger

What a wonderful night for Amelia’s Club @saltlakecityfc_ and especially for Amelia’s soccer team that got to play on the field during half time. ❤️⚽️ Memories that will last a life time! Big shout out to my multi-talented husband @handoverthehero, who passed the soccer torch down to our kids and I. AND ALSO for creating this amazing video 😘

The people I tagged have helped grow this team grow from ground zero until now at one point or another, so thank you 😊 And our parents are amazing as well.
Thanks @realsaltlake

So Millie and her team got to the final game and she busted out her pink and blue piggies for it, in fact the whole family did. In the end we took the second place medal 🏅 To be honest our team went in as obvious underdogs but they held their own and played so hard as a team. I was so proud of each one of them. Amelia really put all her learned skills from her dad and coaches (Drew and Zach) to use. Hard work and dedication does pay off. Thanks to all the peps on our soccer journey so far @saltlakecityfc_ @coach_drew_realtor @elevationgoalkeeper and all our teams families and friends.

First tournament for this 2013 crew this weekend playing up with the 2012s and playing 7v7 with a goalie for the first time! They made the final and came up short, but proud of this team and how hard they played! Noah played great, scored 5 goals, dominated on defense, and his coach named him the Player of the Tournament!!

What a great first tournament for these boys. They made it to the finals playing up a year. They took 2nd place but played so tough in the semifinals and finals. Can’t wait for the season to start. #youthsoccer #soccer #slcfc #tournament #hardworkpaysoffs #youth

Kayden played in his first competitive soccer game (7v7) and did an awesome job. His team won 7-0. He played great defense, and when he was moved up to center midfield, he was able to dribble through a few players and score a sweet goal. From the looks of the last picture, I think he had fun. Well done Kayden! All the hard work is paying off. #youthsoccer #slcfc #soccer
