POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Twenty-three years ago yesterday, I visited The Horseshoe to watch @packfootball take on the 3rd-ranked @ohiostatefb This is the September 13, 2003 program from that day. Also shown is the ticket I left at home (never opened), so I had to go to will call to get into the game. 1st and 4 from the 4-yard line in the 3rd OT—I think we were all expecting T.A. to get the ball. Not until 4th down after two failed QB sneaks and an incompletion. Stuffed just shy of the end zone. I will say the Buckeyes fans around me were polite throughout the game. #ncstate #football #program #notforsale

@michaelwaynerhodesjr All summer, it wasn’t about taking days off it was about development, discipline, and becoming a better.

Now it’s time to put all that work on the field. The highlights are only the beginning. 🏈💯

Baby boy, I pray you have the most amazing first day and the best school year yet! 🙏🏽💙

I pray that you are protected everywhere you go and that God watches over you, guides you, and keeps you safe at all times. I pray that you make lots of wonderful friends, create memories and have experiences that will last a lifetime.

I pray that you have so much fun while learning, that you remain curious, and that you always make good decisions, even when no one is watching. I pray God gives your teacher patience, wisdom, and guidance as she helps you learn and grow.

Most of all, I pray that you never lose the confidence, kindness, joy, and free spirit that make you so uniquely YOU. Never be afraid to be yourself, baby boy. Walk into that classroom with your head held high, your heart full of kindness, and that infectious smile on your face.

Show them all what you’re made of, son! Shine bright and let your light lead the way! ✨

Mommy and Daddy love you to the moon and back, and we will ALWAYS have your back. No matter how big you get or where life takes you, you will always have us cheering you on, praying for you, and loving you every step of the way.

You are SO loved, DJ. 💙

Now go rock Kindergarten, baby boy! 🏫🚸🎒📚✏️📓📏✂️🖌️🖍️🎶

We love you forever and always. 🙏🏽💙

Lord, today as family & friends prepare to attend home going services, I humbly ask that you provide peace, comfort and understanding to the entire Davis family and all who knew & loved Will.

He only arrived in time for Spring ball, but you’d think he had been with the Sam Houston Bearkats longer because of the profound & lasting impact he made on his teammates and coaches, especially fellow members of his position group and his position coach @coach_eeeeee.

Dovonte, DJ and myself met with the group for a few just as the spring game ended to let them know how excited we were for the upcoming season and other fun things planned. It hurts my heart to know we will forever be missing a bright spot in this safety group, but we will find ways to honor Will every chance we get and play on for him!

God bless you Will. Rest well young king 🙏🏽🕊️🫶🏽and may your memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved you.
