These girls can! Super fun calisthenics class with @coach_elektra by the Shadwell Basin in Wapping last week. It’s nice to train differently from time to time to challenge the body in different ways! Also, training with a bunch of fun and supportive women is the best. We had a dead hang competition at the end, and I won!!! 3:05.20 was my time, which apparently is very good! The rep I've been chasing for over a year 🥹 I started working towards the bar muscle-up in late 2024. Injuries, illness & some tricky life stuff meant training was on and off, and progress was slow. It seemed impossible and so far out of reach. In Novemeber 2025, I traded the bar in for rings, and 5 months later, I got my first unassisted muscle-up. The rep wasn't pretty, but it was real. I am so, damn proud of myself for sticking to the goal even when things didn't go according to plan. Thank you, @victorthedipper for setting me on this journey even though I thought I wasn't ready.
