Culture isn’t built with a speech. It’s built in the small, repeatable moments — the ones players don’t even realize are shaping them until years later.

Save this one and pick 2-3 to focus on this season. You can’t do all 20 at once, and you don’t need to.

What’s one thing on this list you’re already great at? Drop it below 👇

Had a great time serving more than 70 football coaches at FCA Football Camp this week!

I had the opportunity to lead two morning coaches’ sessions focused on calling, purpose, and encouragement. It was an honor to invest in coaches who are making a difference in the lives of student-athletes every day.

I was also privileged to have former NFL quarterbacks Kordell Stewart and Quincy Carter join my sessions.

Grateful for the opportunity to encourage and equip coaches to impact their teams for Christ.

They say Iron sharpens iron.... but we found out today a good golfer doesn't make my golf game any better!

The annual CHS Coaches golf match today was another success! Each of these men have showed up and helped another one of these men at some point this year... we laugh together, trash talk together, and golf together..... but we also pray together, encourage each other together, and help each other out together! This is a special group and I am blessed to be amongst such a great group that pushes me to be better each day!

It is an honor to congratulate and celebrate Coach Mike Roby, Athletic Director, on being named GHSA’s 7A-DI “Athletic Director of the Year”!

“I am extremely proud of Mike and the missional leadership he provides,” said President and Head of School Kent Harrison. “He will tell you it is a reflection of his team, and it is. But it is a team he leads well, and together, they strive for excellence for our student-athletes. This honor is well deserved, and we are very proud.”

Roby serves beyond the CHS athletic staff as a key member of the Lions varsity baseball and fastpitch softball staffs for the 2025-2026 season. He is recognized as an influential leader across the state, most recently having served as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes’ (FCA) Atlanta coaches director as well as the director of South Metro Atlanta for over a decade, prior to joining the CHS community in 2023. He and his wife, Lora, have one son, Lucas (’24), who attends Covenant College and plays baseball. With over two decades of coaching experience and high-level leadership expertise both on and off the field, it is a JOY to have Coach Roby leading our #lionpride with excellence.

Congratulations to Coach Roby on this prestigious honor!

Extremely proud of this group — the last 6 weeks were different. ⚡️

The proof is in the numbers…

Tested using laser timing technology ( @arenagear ) 🤝

• Sub 5.0 athletes: 2 ➡️ 6
• 20+ MPH athletes: 0 ➡️ 2
• 19+ MPH athletes: 2 ➡️ 6

That’s what happens when you stack intentional work, week after week.

Huge shoutout to Coach Barden and Coach Howard for their work with these guys in the weight room. You get special results when you couple the strength and speed together in a synergistic way.

Thanks to @coach_mikeroby for investing in these athletes and bringing us in!
