Foil Lauderdale: Day 2. Unofficial. Unplanned. Unreasonably fast. Apparently, one day wasn’t enough 😎. So a few of us met again the next morning. Stormy skies? Not enough to keep us off the water.

Then Chrissy and I decided to have a little friendly race. 🏁. 28+ MPH later… Chrissy won. I went swimming. 😂. I prefer to think of it as a gentlemanly gesture. Ladies first, after all. 😉

@chrissy_pappas_2.0 @coach_rolando and @silversurfer_fliteboard a pleasure having you all back for this unofficial day 2 of Foil Lauderdale and sharing one more unforgettable morning on the water!

The event ended. The friendships didn’t.

GOOD RIDES. GREAT PEOPLE. PURE FREEDOM.

Different ages. Different stories. Same crazy passion.

Some have more wrinkles. Others have more horsepower. But put us on a Fliteboard, and we’re all 12 again.

FOIL Lauderdale brought together people who share more than a love for flying above the water.

Strangers became friends. Generations connected. And somewhere between the rides, the laughter, and the rosé, something pretty special happened. 🥂

We came for the thrill of flying. We left with something even better.

GOOD RIDES. GREAT PEOPLE. PURE FREEDOM.

RIDE. CONNECT. ROSÉ.

Thank you to everyone who made the first Foil Lauderdale unforgettable.

Keep flying. See you on the water!

A 10 ANOS ATRAS EU NAO ERA DIAGNOSTICADO COMO AUTISTA . MAS NUMA LUTA UBER CONTRA TAXISTAS EM VITÓRIA -ES. VALE LEMBRAR QUE ESSE PROBLEMA DE UBER COM TAXISTAS EM VITÓRIA JA É PACIFICADO. The response to our very first FOIL LAUDERDALE has been incredible!

All rider spots are now filled, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the enthusiasm, the messages, and the amazing people who want to be part of this adventure.

What started as a simple idea, bringing together people who share a love for flying above the water is turning into something pretty special.

To everyone joining us on October 24th, get ready. 🇫🇷🥂

And to those who couldn’t make this one… don’t put your boards away just yet. There’s more to come.

Good rides. Good people. Pure freedom.

Keep flying…See you on the water! 🌊

eFoiling is the coolest new sport! Book a spot before the summer is over, it’s so fun and basically everyone can get up and fly their first time!

Rolando is a great instructor, super friendly, and super fun! Visit him at @coach_rolando and DM him to book a spot!

DM me if you end up going!

A little pre-session setup talk before getting on the water. 🤙

I brought both boards out today. @coach_rolando recently did a great and very funny breakdown of the Flite Jet 2, so definitely check out his video if you want to understand that setup better.

My Jet 2 mast also just came back from service at Brownie’s Brownies in Fort Lauderdale @browniesyachtdiver . Matt really knows these systems inside and out…extremely knowledgeable, professional and thorough. If you’re in South Florida and need your mast serviced, I can definitely recommend them.

But today I’m riding the prop setup with the folding prop, paired with the FLUX 707 front wing + 160 rear, and running a -1 shim.

This combination is becoming one of my favorites.

The 707 feels fast and incredibly responsive, and paired with the 160 it gives me the maneuverability I’m looking for when I want to push harder into the turns. The -1 shim changes the feel again…the whole setup feels more locked in and lets me really lean into the carves.

Less about cruising today. More about speed, control and carving. ⚡️

That’s one of the things I love about eFoiling: small changes underneath the board can completely change the way it rides.

And yes… I could probably talk about wings, shims and setups all day. 😂

Today’s setup:
Fliteboard
Prop mast + folding prop
FLUX 707 front wing
160 rear wing
-1 shim

Now enough talking. Time to ride. 🌊
