🏆 TEAM MVP — DARNELL GREEN 🏆

Darnell’s season was a true example of resilience, patience, and perseverance. After battling injuries to start the year, he stayed locked in, kept working, and trusted the process. Once he got healthy midway through the season, his impact was undeniable and he became a key piece of our run.

Whether he was taking the top off a defence at WR, locking down receivers at CB, or taking a kickoff to the house, Darnell’s game-breaking speed meant he could change a game every time the ball came his way.

But what stands out even more is the work behind it all. His work ethic, dedication, and commitment to getting better never changed, even when he wasn’t able to be on the field.

That dedication has earned him the opportunity to continue his football and academic journey on scholarship at Acadia University. Well deserved, Darnell. Proud of the player you’ve become and even more excited for what’s ahead.

TEAM MVP. GAME BREAKER. HUMAN 🕹🕹

🏆 DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR — DAMIAN NEPTUNE 🏆

Some players make an impact with their talent. Damian made an impact with everything he brought to this team.
No matter what position we asked him to play or what responsibility we put on his shoulders, Damian stepped up and got the job done. His versatility, leadership, relentless work ethic, and ability to motivate the guys around him made him an invaluable part of our team.

Watching Damian grow this season—not only as a football player, but as a leader—has been something special. He put together an incredible year and showed everyone the type of player he is becoming.

His play earned him several university offers, but Damian has chosen to return to David Suzuki for a 5th season, giving himself another year to continue developing and show just how high his ceiling can be.

Proud of you, Damian. Keep leading, keep working, and keep becoming the player and young man we all know you can be. Your story is far from finished. 💜💛🏈

🏆 OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR — JJ ROBINSON 🏆

What a year. What a journey. And what a young man JJ has become.

JJ gave everything he had to this team. He was a leader we could count on, a teammate who always showed up, and someone whose dedication and work ethic never went unnoticed. Watching his growth, confidence, and determination throughout the year has been something truly special.

Every extra rep, every long day, and every moment he chose to keep working has paid off. We couldn’t be prouder to see JJ earn his commitment to the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees and take the next step in his football journey.

You earned this, JJ. We’re incredibly proud of you, and we know this is only the beginning. ❤️🏈
