I don’t want my legs to just look strong. I want them to move like they are. This is genuinely my favourite way to train legs. I love feeling strong, but I also want to feel fast, powerful, stable and capable. I want my body to be able to jump, land, change direction, control movement and actually perform. That’s why you’ll find things like hurdle jumps, lateral jumps + box jumps, glute work and stability exercises in my leg days. It keeps training fun for me, challenges me in different ways and makes me feel strong in a way that carries over into everything I do. If this way of training speaks to you and you’d like some guidance bringing more athletic work into your own training, feel free to send me “ATHLETIC” and I can tell you more about my coaching.

BUILD is all about getting stronger through dynamic, full-body strength training. Every class can look a little different, from circuits and EMOMs to AMRAPs, with a mix of strength exercises and functional movements. You’ll challenge your whole body, work at your own level and leave feeling STRONG. Come join me for a BUILD class at Coached Collective in Mechelen 🤍 Btw the morning light is amazing here! But harder to film 😂

Every time I start training again after a little break, I wonder why the hell I stopped in the first place 😂 Because I genuinely LOVE training like this. Running, jumping, lifting, moving fast, challenging my body in different ways… it just feels so much more fun to me than doing the same exercises over and over again. And after a few weeks of feeling overwhelmed and having zero motivation, this was exactly what I needed. Maybe I didn’t need more discipline. Maybe I just needed to remember how much I actually enjoy moving my body. Anyway… athletic training has me back 🤝🏼
