Rec-Mode was BACK OUTSIDE in the community again today! 🐾🔥❤️

This time we were in Germantown’s Panther Country for Legacy Night—Community Resource Fair at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School!

Connecting with families, supporting our youth, and strengthening our community—that’s what we do! 🥊📚💪🏽

Out here with you Gaithersburg!👍🏽 Another amazing day in Gaithersburg empowering our youth! 🙏🏽❤️

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the amazing teams at Identity & Street Outreach Network (SON) for inviting us to collaborate and join your efforts in empowering our youth!

It was an honor celebrating our community’s future leaders as they received their certificates for completing an incredible weekly program! 🎓👏🏽

We’re proud to stand alongside organizations committed to investing in, uplifting, and creating opportunities for our young people. Our youth are our future, and together, we’re helping them become the leaders our community needs! 💪🏽🔥

A heartfelt THANK YOU to my family, my Rec mode family, friends, and everyone who took a moment to send me Birthday wishes. ❤️🙏🏽

I am genuinely grateful for the unwavering love, support, and encouragement you’ve shown me through every chapter of my life—across my different careers, seasons, challenges, and growth.

To our youth, know that you have a steadfast advocate in me, and my complete support always. It’s a blessing to continue serving alongside the Rec mode team, living Service Above Self and investing in our youth, families, and community.

Thank you for walking this journey with me, for lifting me up, and for being part of my story. 🙏🏽❤️🥊

Today, I’m simply grateful. 🙏🏽

Thanking God for allowing me to celebrate another year of life and for the many blessings He has given me—including the opportunity to continue the work He tapped me to do in ensuring our youth in our underserved communities have the same opportunities that often elude them.❤️

Through the good times, the dark times, and the rough roads along this journey, God has continued to walk with me, guide me, and give me the strength to keep going.

I’m deeply grateful for my family and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey—and who continues to stand beside me. Your love, prayers, encouragement, and support mean more than you know.

Another year. Another blessing. Another opportunity to serve, inspire, and make a difference. 🙏🏽❤️🥊

Empowering Thursday! 🥊🌟

Every Thursday, we’re proud to join Identity in investing in their incredible young stars through our Youth Empowerment classes.

It’s about more than fitness—it’s about building confidence, character, discipline, leadership, and reminding every young person they are valued, capable, and worthy of a bright future.

Together, we’re empowering the next generation—one young leader at a time! 💪🏽🌟

Some bonds are built through life, and some are strengthened through loss.

Yesterday, as we remembered our son Nique on his heavenly birthday, Jess stopped by with a generous donation from the Simons to support the Rec Mode family. We’re deeply grateful for the gift, but even more for the friendship, love, and bond we’ve built over the years.

Jess also recently lost her father, Ambassador Paul—a great man and close friend—and together we took time to remember and celebrate both Ambassador and Nique.🙏🏾❤️

Rec Mode will always been more than a gym. We are a family that stands together in both life’s victories and its hardest moments. The love and support from our Rec Mode family reminds us we are never alone.

Our families will forever be connected. ❤️
