⚽️ A big thank you to David Baird, Scoreboard Soccer author & UEFA A Licence coach for joining us at THPFC on March 4th! ⚽️

David shared his wealth of knowledge and experience, including over 15 years of international coaching, in two incredible sessions: a U10 soccer training session (6-7 PM) followed by a coach education session (8-9:30 PM). It was amazing to see 31 coaches and staff come together to learn from one of the best in the game.

Thank you, @coachdavidbaird , for an inspiring evening of coaching, play, and praise!

Leadership is essential for teams to succeed and thrive in their sport ecosystem.

Leadership takes different tools today than 20 years ago- why is it harder to coach this new distracted athlete today and manage parents?

MGA is launching our Cognitive Coaching Strategies Program.
🏈In order to lead a person has to be able to lead themselves.
🧠Coaches need to have mental skills first in order to reduce their own stress and teach them to their athletes.
⚽️ Coaches will learn how to teach coping skills and effective feedback.
🏀 Master how to build confidence.
⛳️ Learn how to balance phone use for practices and games.
🏈 Learn how social media is impacting your athletes brains and performance
🥅 Learn effective methods to connect with this digital athlete and gain their respect.

This comprehensive neuro-scientifically designed program can be taught in 8 weeks virtually or in person.

We’re all trying to get better every day, players and coaches.

So we invited a guest coach out last night to run a session, but more importantly to give feedback on our coaches, training session plans and the team training culture. Joe was great and gave a really honest assessment of where we could improve and what we can be proud of.

Thanks Joe 🙏🏼
