🎬🏀 From ELAC to Netflix’s Last Chance U: Basketball , Coach John Mosley has helped put East Los Angeles College in the national spotlight.

In our conversation, Coach Mosley shared his experience at ELAC and what he believes matters when it comes to leadership in the Los Angeles Community College District: having trustees who are genuinely interested in serving and listening to the community.

As Gabriel Buelna runs for reelection to the LACCD Board of Trustees, he continues to visit campuses, listen to students, faculty, staff, and community members, and learn what each college needs.

ELAC is a vital part of the LACCD community, and conversations like this help highlight the people and programs that make it special. 🎓🏀

The 2nd Annual Hometown Favorites Coaching Clinic was an incredible experience! Coach Jason Hart and Coach Pooh Jeter put together a powerful event, and the city showed up and responded in a major way.

Representatives from several NBA teams, including the Lakers, Clippers, Trailblazers, Pacers, and Pelicans, were in attendance, just to name a few. The knowledge, insight, and information shared throughout the clinic were truly dynamic.

It was an amazing opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the most elite minds in basketball, ask questions, and receive genuine, insightful answers from coaches and professionals at the highest levels of the game.

If you weren’t there, you definitely missed a tremendous event.

Thank you again, Coach Hart and Coach Jeter, for continuing to invest in and give back to the basketball community. Events like this are exactly what the game needs!
