Asking for a group photo on a random Thursday @rifle.crossfit is at the bottom of the list of weirdness.

I hope that everyone feels acceptance the way that I have here at the gym.

Lion’s Gate is not only about calling something new into your life.

It is also an invitation to notice what you have been carrying that was never truly yours.

The expectations.
The inherited beliefs.
The patterns you absorbed before you had the wisdom—or the freedom—to choose differently.

This season asks us to pause, listen, and realign.

To release what no longer belongs.
To reclaim what is true within us.
To receive with an open heart.
And to rise through aligned action.

The energy of 8 is associated with balance, personal power, abundance, and the meeting place between the spiritual and the material. This year’s 8/8/8 resonance offers a meaningful threshold for choosing what you want to strengthen as you move forward.

Ask yourself:

What am I ready to set down?
What truth is ready to rise?
What action am I willing to take next?

Comment LION and I’ll send you a link to a powerful Lion’s Gate meditation.

And if you are craving live support, sacred reflection, and a circle of women to walk with, you are invited into Shakti Rising Circle.

We meet Tuesdays from 7:30–8:30 PM MT.

Let’s walk through this portal together.

✨ Whole-Self Care starts here.

In a world that constantly asks us to give more, produce more, and keep going…

What if self-care wasn’t something you squeezed into your schedule?

What if it became a way of coming home to yourself?

To celebrate National Self-Care Day, I’ve created a FREE 5-Day Whole-Self Care Challenge inside the SOULutions App.

Over five days, we’ll journey through the Five Koshas—the ancient yogic map of the whole self—with simple 10–20 minute guided practices that nourish every layer of your being.

🌿 Day 1: Care for Your Body
Move, breathe, and reconnect with the wisdom of your physical body.

💨 Day 2: Care for Your Energy
Restore your life force through conscious breathing and the Microcosmic Orbit.

🧠 Day 3: Care for Your Mind
Practice witnessing your thoughts with greater awareness, clarity, and compassion.

✨ Day 4: Care for Your Inner Wisdom
Rest deeply in a guided Yoga Nidra and reconnect with the quiet knowing already within you.

💛 Day 5: Care for Your Soul
Experience an embodied gratitude practice that embraces your whole life—not just the easy parts.

This isn’t about escaping your life.

It’s about becoming more fully present within it.

✨ Here’s how to join:

✔️ Start your 7-Day FREE Trial through the SOULutions web portal:
https://soulutions.breakthroughapps.io

✔️ Create your account.

✔️ Use coupon code SELFCARE when you subscribe to receive 50% OFF your first month if you choose to continue after your free trial.

I would be honored to walk these five days with you.

Because caring for yourself isn’t selfish…

It’s one of the most generous gifts you can offer yourself—and everyone whose life you touch.

With gratitude and love,

Mindy

Every coach has that athlete. 😂

You know the one…

“I can’t.”
“How many rounds again?”
“Can I just do half?”
“This is the worst workout ever.”

Then somehow…
✔️ They finish every rep.
✔️ They cheer everyone else on.
✔️ They leave smiling.
✔️ And they’re back the next day.

That’s the magic of this place.

It isn’t about loving every workout.
It’s about becoming the kind of person who keeps showing up anyway.

We’ll keep programming.
You keep complaining.
Together, we’ll keep getting stronger. 🤝 #AlwaysFaithfulFitness #CrossFitHumor #StrongerTogether #communityovereverything

Mobility is part of the workout too.

Now… whether you’re actually stretching the right way is a different conversation.

A few minutes of mobility after class can help you recover, move better, and get ready to do it all again tomorrow.

Even when you are pretending to stretch while you chit chat, it’s better than nothing!

Your inner light doesn’t rise because you force it.

It rises when you begin to trust what has been quietly glowing within you all along.

Your intuition.
Your truth.
Your creativity.
Your voice.
Your sense of what is sacred, even in ordinary life.

This week, I have three ways to connect with the theme Inner Light Rising:

✨ Shakti Rising Circle — ongoing weekly support
✨ Inner Light Rising Goddess Gathering — one sacred in-person afternoon
✨ Be More You Summer: Authentic Expression — a focused 4-week seasonal reset

You don’t have to do all the things.

Just listen for the doorway that feels most alive.

The sacred feminine meets you where you are.

Two decades later, and I’m still wondering how I got so lucky. Happy 20th Anniversary, Caroline! 20 years of marriage, a million memories, and the absolute best partner I could have ever asked for. 🥂

We’ve lived so many lives together in these 20 years. We went from young outdoor adventurers buying our first home, to parents building a family, to business owners navigating the gym life—with some unforgettable trips to Brazil mixed in between.

Your adventurous spirit and passion make life exciting, but it’s your kind heart, your intelligence, and your strength that anchors our family. Thank you for your artistic eye, for being an incredible mother, and for loving me in a way that has pushed me to grow and become a better man. You are absolutely stunning, inside and out and I love you!

Cheers to 20 years of choosing each other! I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat! 🥂❤️

I was in @drhaleyperlus workshop at the yoga festival this weekend, pen in my notebook, and she said this:
“give yourself grace but don’t let yourself off the hook”
So I lettered it right there. Shadow, wobble, all of it. Didn’t want to lose it.
Thank you @drhaleyperlus and @tellurideyogafestival
What landed for you lately that you needed to write down fast? #womenshealth #habitsoverhustle #graceoverguilt #mindsetcoach #yogafestival

Strong. Capable. Unstoppable.

This is for the women who show up when it’s hard.
For the moms who trade sleep for strength.
For the ones chasing pull-ups, not perfection.

We don’t train to be smaller.
We train to be stronger.
We train for our health, our mindset, our confidence.

Because the real flex?
Doing it for YOU. 💪🏼🔥

🦾 FAT IS NOT THE ENEMY. IT’S YOUR BODY’S FIELD MANUAL.
If you’re still living in the “low-fat” era of the 90s, you’re leaving performance on the table. For athletes—especially those of us grinding through The Open—fat isn’t just a macro; it’s logistics for your biology. 🛡️
Swipe through to see why fat is the ultimate “performance superpower” ➡️
🧱 Building the Machine
Your brain is 60% fat. Your skin, your eyes, and every single cell membrane in your body require fatty acids and cholesterol to build and repair. Without them, you aren’t just tired—you’re literally breaking down.
🔋 The Long-Burn Battery
While carbs are your “sprint” fuel, fat is your all-day energy. It provides more than double the energy of carbs or protein, fueling you through rest, sleep, and those long, grueling workouts. A metabolically fit athlete can switch between both seamlessly.
🧪 Hormone Warfare
Want to drive strength and recovery? You need fat. Key hormones like testosterone, estrogen, and cortisol are built directly from the fats you eat. Low fat = stalled progress and crashed output.
🛠️ Choose Your Equipment Wisely
Not all fats are created equal.
• ✅ THE GOOD: Butter, tallow, egg yolks, oily fish, nuts, avocados, and coconut.
• ❌ THE TOXIC: Highly processed industrial oils, trans fats, and oxidized (rancid) fats that damage your health.
The Bottom Line: Treat your nutrition like your training. Quality matters. Choose natural sources, hit your marks, and let your body do what it was built to do. 👊

Teacher vs. CrossFit Open 26.1.

Teaching asks a lot of me.
Motherhood asks even more.

And I’ve learned something important — if I don’t intentionally empty the tank somewhere, it spills into the places that matter most.

Better to suffer voluntarily than spiral accidentally.

And believe it or not, this is how I found my people!
Grateful for people who let me be all of me.
Teacher me.
Mom me.
Just me.
