Woweee after over 11 years as part of JPS, first as a client and student, and then for almost eight years working across sales, events, marketing and communications, it’s time to move on for me!

It’s been a crazy and incredibly rewarding journey. From running major events and conferences and bringing some of the world’s leading presenters to Australia, to launching new programs and initiatives we had never attempted before, I’m incredibly proud of what the team achieved and the impact we’ve made within the industry continually upholding our motto of raising the standard!

We rode the waves of COVID, adapted, pivoted and found new ways forward. I had the opportunity to help create and implement new systems and help bring the team’s ambitious ideas to life. Many ideas of which were groundbreaking and firsts, long before the fitness industry was saturated and many of its original values had been diluted with the rise of TikTok trends, the millions of overnight online coaches/business mentors, times when the human element was appreciated over the standard generic AI script or ChatGPT response.

Most importantly, JPS introduced me to some truly amazing people, many of which have become lifelong friends. I’m incredibly grateful to the entire JPS team, past and present, and to everyone I’ve met throughout this chapter!

As with all good things, this chapter has come to an end. I’m sad to be finishing up, but equally excited about the road ahead and everything the next chapter may bring!

Thank you to Sam, Jacob and Martin, and I wish the entire team all the very best for the future! Special shout out to Sam for bringing me out of the corporate sports management roles I was in for the prior 9 years! Still “not competing” and onto week 1536473 of the same block! :p 🖤🤍✌️

Drug Test Result - FULL Transparency 🛡️

Immediately after securing a victory in an Overall Class, our winners undergo prompt urine testing. For this screening, athlete Matt Kefa underwent a comprehensive 5550-Anabolic Steroids and Agents GC-MS Screen with Confirmation (Urine). 🧪

📈 The Result: We are proud to announce that Matt Kefa has tested NEGATIVE for all substances. 🏆

With these results confirmed, Matt is now officially recognised as an official WNBF Pro. Congratulations, Matt, on your well-deserved victory and your commitment to natural bodybuilding! 🥇💪

Here is a look at our official Drug Testing process:

✅ Chain of Custody: We maintain a strict chain of custody from the moment of collection to the final report, ensuring the absolute integrity of every sample.

✅ The Procedure: Immediately after being crowned the overall winner, Matt was met by a gender-matched Doping Control Officer (DCO).

✅ Secure Collection: The DCO accompanied Matt directly to the testing room to observe the urine collection process in real-time.

✅ Verification: Matt personally filled out all necessary documentation and securely sealed his urine sample.

✅ International Analysis: The sample was then shipped directly to the United States to be analysed by a WADA approved laboratory.

What an amazing day, it was nothing but smiles all round.

Some great results in placing but an all time best look was truly the winning prize for me 🥇 can’t ask for more than that!
