POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As I sit here and reminisce on my tenure as coach of green run baseball. I think of how far we’ve come, how many young men came through this program and how many more will come. I often ask myself did I do enough to get them ready not only for the field but for life. No matter what you think baseball is life. I tell every incoming freshman these 4 years will fly by. Make the most of it. If you are just playing to play or aspiring to play at the next level. I made sure you put in work. The guys know I have a saying “I want to work with those that want to work.” I will pour into you all that I have and if I don’t know it I will find someone that does. I want to thank every coach that has ever dropped nuggets along the way. Coach Wiley Lee thank you for being everything to me & my family. You are my day 1. Coach Jesse Ellison and Coach Quentin Jones thank you for giving me all the insight on pitching for so many years. Coach Joe Jackson thank you for always showing kids their true potential even when they didn’t see it. Coach Mannie Upton thank you for all you do for all players but especially our black and brown players that are always overlooked and underrated. I will never forget you all and I know there is more so I send a BIG Thank You! To my family I love you and thank you for all your support. Not sure what God has in store for me but Lord knows I Love Baseball even when it doesn’t love you. Coach, Pops, OG, Unc, Campbell out.

To say I’m proud of you is an understatement. You have overcome so much on your journey to become not only the player you are but the young man you’re growing into. I’ve never seen someone with so much resilience and determination. You turned doubters into believers and believers into supporters. You’ve been overlooked so many times to only become their worst nightmare where they can’t stop seeing you. God has blessed you with so many opportunities and you’ve handled them all with grace and pride. This maybe the end of your high school career but it’s the just the beginning of your life. I love you and thank you for allowing me to be just a little part of your story. Love pops. #17 Out 🇵🇷⚾️💪🏾

This one is for 🫵🏾

All you can do is pay for them, you can’t play for them so let them have this time to grow. Behind the scenes is where the real development occurs. 💯
