Halfway point in the season! Six games, road trips to Ann Arbor, Buffalo, and Houston, and some unforgettable games at home.

So proud of Austin for a first half full of firsts-his first college start, first sack, and first Player of the Game & prob more.

We are so grateful for everyone who has come out to support him, at home and on the road. Game 7 today! Let’s go!

Day 66 in the Intensive Care Unit… fight on fight on for Western Michigan University @WMU_Football coached by Head Coach Lance Taylor @coachLT39 (the Best Head Coach in WMU Football History) & where I played linebacker… take the ball, make a score, win the game COACH‼️ My newborn Lily Vera Newman (diagnosed w/ PURA Syndrome) is on full-time oxygen, has a feeding tube in her stomach via a “G Feeding Tube” & is on 2 different medications. Today is Lily’s 66th consecutive day in the Intensive Care Unit. Lily is now at her 2nd different hospital & in her 6th different room. Lily Vera Newman, diagnosed w/ PURA Syndrome (only 840 cases ever recorded), has yet to come home after being born in early August of 2026. Lily has spent every day in the Intensive Care Unit during her lifetime & once was put on a ventilator after she stopped breathing post surgery. Lily has had a MRI, an EEG, an EKG, an Echocardiogram, a Sleep Study, a Swallow Study & Lily had her Genetics tested (which identified her having PURA Syndrome). Lily had surgery to install her G Feeding Tube in her her stomach where they put her on anesthesia & her first car ride was an ambulance ride. My wife & I were thrust into this PURA journey on August 5th, 2026. I will attempt to document the unknown & the challenges that may arise during this lifelong fight. This may resonate w/ other families w/ similar life paths & most importantly… raise awareness for rare diseases like PURA Syndrome 🧬‼️ PURA Syndrome 📲 please click the link in @CRANESWORLDtv bio to help us fight‼️ https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-our-daughter-after-pura-diagnosis
