Michael will play a major role in the technical side of our outdoor teams, working directly with our players and coaches while helping shape our training standards, methodology, and overall approach to player development. With over nine years of coaching experience, extensive experience in Austin, Texas, and a background that includes winning a UPSL championship and goalkeeper coaching, Michael brings valuable experience and leadership to our program. His focus will be on creating a competitive, high-quality training environment while developing confident, intelligent, and technically strong players across the club. The pain of being doubted will always fade but The person you become because of it never will This season reminded me that success is never just about the final result. It’s about the sacrifices made when nobody is watching, the discipline to keep showing up and to push forward through every challenge. There were moments when I felt I wasn’t good enough Those words stayed with me longer than I wanted them to. But instead of letting them define me, I chose to let them shape me and it became another opportunity to grow, not only as a player , but as a person. Then came Mixtum United. From the very beginning, every player, coach, and staff member bought into a vision that was bigger than ourselves. We pushed one another through the highs and the lows, held each other accountable, and never lost sight of what we were working toward , every difficult moment, and every match brought us one step closer to becoming champions. Winning this title for a second time means more than just adding another championship to my journey. It gave me another opportunity to learn, grow, and see the game from a different perspective. I’ll carry every lesson from this experience into the upcoming season with my own teams, striving to become a better coach every day. If I can pass even a small part of what this group has taught me, then this championship will have meant far more than just lifting another trophy. This achievement is an unforgettable feeling but the memories we created, the lessons we learned, and the bond we built will always mean more than the medal itself. To everyone who was part of this journey thank you. This championship belongs to every single one of us. Forever grateful but as always The journey continues. 💜🏆 @mixtumunited

Some people only see the 90 minutes on game day. They don’t see the countless hours, conversations, planning, and sacrifices that happen behind the scenes. Coach Mike has been with this team since the early days, believing in the vision long before we ever stepped onto the field. Through every challenge and every milestone, he’s been a constant leader, mentor, and friend. Thank you, Coach Mike, for everything you’ve poured into this club and our players. We’re grateful to have shared this journey with you, and we wish you nothing but the best of luck in your new role with @alphasouthtexas . We know you’ll make the same impact there that you made here. The job isn’t finished yet—but we’ve come a long way together. ❤️⚽ 🏆 Area Champions 🏆 Region Champions #ThankYouCoach #upsltexas #RoadToState #AreaChampions #RegionChampions #mixtumvseveryone
