“Leaders do not get people to believe in them, they find ways to get people to believe in themselves!” Here I am helping a great friend and BJJ student @coachmikeurso on his way to a perfect day. In his first ever tournament after only 2.5 months of training. He did not give up a single point and won the gold with a well executed submission! #bjjlifestyle #bjj #respect #training #fitness #coach #student #proud #grateful

Repost @pitcherenpointe :
This post goes out to my trainer @coachmikeurso. Last night we worked out after I missed 2 weeks with him and half-heartedly tried to keep on track by myself amidst travel. My lunges looked like I was on a first class train to hot mess express! Not exaggerating.
🤦🏻‍♀️😂🤷🏻‍♀️
Over the years I’ve learned that the path to growth means being able to ask others for help and allow them to keep you accountable. Mike is such a great resource and I’m so thankful he’s on my fitness journey with me. Please check out his company @golden.homefitness! They make it so easy by coming to you. 🧘🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏋🏻‍♀️🏄🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️
Work/Life balance is a tough dance to find your rhythm in but having a great support system is key. Mike is helping me to see that self care is not selfish and your health is a worthwhile priority. 💻🗄📊🗂📱
Buuut.....let’s be honest, I really worked out last night to justify the epic carb-loading about to happen.
