🏆🏆 PARADISE RETAINED!!!2026 SBCL Final Match Report!!!

History created in Hendon as Hilltop become the first team in the competition to win the trophy for a third time!!! Goals from @mahdi.22h & @smilewithali were enough for Hilltop to secure a 2-1 win yet again against Olympia!!!

Hilltop came to London as champions!!! They leave as champions AGAIN!!!! A year on from Bristol, FC Hilltop have done it again!!! Good teams win it once but great teams find a way to keep winning!!

The Somali British Champions League Final has produced another historic chapter, and this time the trophy stays right here in Northwest London!!! 🏆

What a day, what a tournament and what a way to defend the crown!!!

Commiserations to FC Olympia, an amazing club with an amazing fanbase and I have no doubt that their time will come soon!!!! They gave absolutely everything and it just wasn’t enough on the day!!! They’ll be back next year In Sha Allah!!!

The Somali community across the UK once again turned up in numbers, creating an incredible atmosphere and showing exactly what the Somali British Champions League means to so many people!!!!

Last year, we were in Bristol!!!

FC Hilltop arrived at Oaklands Park Stadium with history in their sights, and after a dramatic final, they returned to London as champions!!!!

Fast forward one year…

The champions were back!!!

But this time, there was a different kind of pressure!!!

They weren’t chasing the trophy anymore!!!

They were defending it!!!

Everyone knew what Hilltop were capable of!

Everyone knew they were the reigning champions!!

And everyone wanted to see whether they could do it all over again!

Could Hilltop retain the crown?

Could they make it back-to-back SBCL titles?

Could they keep the trophy in Northwest London?

The answer is YES.

🏆 2025 — Champions in Bristol.
🏆 2026 — Champions in London.

BACK-TO-BACK
THE PERFECT HAT-TRICK!!!!

The atmosphere around the ground was exactly what you would expect from a Somali British Champions League Final!!! There was passion, vision, aggression, drama and excitement!!!

The crown defended!!!👑

The trophy retained!!!🏆

PARADISE RETAINED!!!!🌴
