Being Filipino is something I carry with pride every day. My culture has taught me the importance of hard work, resilience, humility, and staying committed to my goals. As I continue pursuing my dreams and representing my country, I want people to know that I’m more than just an athlete. While I dedicate countless hours to improving my game, I’m equally committed to my education because I believe success is built both on and off the court. One experience that has helped shape me was being invited to the Jon Scheyer Duke Summer Basketball Camp. It was an incredible opportunity that taught me valuable lessons about basketball, leadership, and personal growth. I’m grateful for the invitation, proud to have been part of it, and thankful for the experience and memories it gave me. My goal is to continue inspiring others by showing that you can chase your athletic dreams, take your education seriously, and proudly represent where you come from. No matter where this journey takes me, I’ll always be honored to represent the Philippines and the values that have shaped who I am today. #dukebasketballcamp #studentathlete #co2030
