[1st Official Win As Head Coach (1-0)]! Will forever be indebted and loyal to this group of high character, ego-less & supportive young ladies. It’s rare to be able to coach a “high motor” player, let alone an entire group. They have the #JerseyShoreRiptide “DNA” in spades... #CoachVicGilmore #BuildingRealtionshipsImpactingLives #DreamBig #WABA

In addition to “Today’s Husky”, we would like to take a moment to remember one of our family members… Andre Duval White, who passed away on this date in 2012 after a courageous battle versus cancer.

Andre was a part of Coach Cottrell’s first team in 1991-92 when the program was reinstated after a two-year hiatus. He was on the team through the 92-93 season, and would later graduate from HBU with degrees in both Business Administration and Computer Information Systems.

Despite not playing a great deal over his two-year career with the Huskies, “Dre-Boogie” was a tremendous teammate and even better friend.
He left behind many loving family members and friends ,as well as a daughter, Lyric. He fought the good fight…and we are all well aware that he is in a much better place now.
We do miss our friend though.

Rest well Dre-Boogie.

But we do miss our friend.

Rest well Dre Boogie.
