While Staunton may technically be a city, "Tiny Town" is a state of mind. This week, we’re serving up a Food Truck Battle for a great cause, live music all over town, bluegrass and waltzing, photography, pottery, trivia championships, Shakespearean storms...and one very sparkly, sold-out tribute to Dolly Parton. Plus: Grinch auditions are coming, and Queen City Mischief & Magic is following the yellow brick road into the World of Oz! 🌈 This week’s Tiny Town Rundown is sponsored by Edward Jones financial advisors Leah Pugh and Sarah Coiner, hosts of Saturday’s Food Truck Battle benefiting the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and the Alzheimer’s Association. Save it. Share it. Send it to the friend who always says, “Why didn’t I know about that?” Find details and even more events at stauntondowntown.org/tinytown. #TinyTownRundown #StauntonVA #DowntownStaunton #LoveStaunton #VisitStaunton ShenandoahValley VirginiaIsForLovers ShopLocal SupportLocal StauntonEvents ThingsToDoInStaunton

Life hasn’t always moved in the direction I’ve wanted. So you learn to bend with the path. You won’t know what’s waiting for you wishing on maybes, so take the risk. Don’t wait for ANYTHING. What’s meant for you won’t find you if you don’t learn to move. • • Dating myself for so long I’ve really started to understand those around me better. I’ve learned not to take things so personally. To see potential in others and myself. To welcome growth or offer forgiveness when needed. • • Your story doesn’t have to be perfect but you do have to start writing it or you’ll get the end with a bunch of blank pages. • Thanks for watching and supporting! As always stay safe, be grateful, and let love 🤍 • @stauntondowntown @visitstaunton @visitwaynesboro @madebythepeopleforthepeople @stauntant @coartgallery @bonobosbakery @byersstreetbistro @roughstock_jiujitsu

Ever really look at these? 👀 These concrete trestles in the Wilderness Adventure lot aren't just old infrastructure—they're witnesses to Staunton's railroad heritage dating back to the early 1900s. They helped Staunton keep the lights on, the furnaces burning, and the trains moving.  Now they're waiting for their next chapter. We believe sleeping landmarks can become community places. Industrial heritage can inspire creative futures. And the best ideas? They come from people who live here, walk here, and dream here. Artists. Gardeners. Designers. Makers. Community dreamers. This is your invitation. How do we transform these structures while honoring their story? Drop your vision below. 💭 (P.S. - Yes, those mockups are AI experiments to spark ideas. Consider them creative prompts, not final proposals. Your napkin sketch might be better and that's exactly the point.) 🙏 Special thanks to Gordon Barlow for sharing his vision. #StauntonTrestleRenewal #ConnectingStaunton #HeritageIntoInspiration #StauntonVA #ShenandoahValley #PublicArt #IndustrialHeritage #CommunityFirst #UrbanRenewal #VirginiaArts #DiscoverStaunton
