A massive new Viking-themed land is coming to the UK. A record investment and a thrill coaster with inversions will headline the expansion at Paultons Park in 2026.

On February 1, 2026, fans gathered at Disney's Animal Kingdom to enjoy what was the last day of operation for DINOSAUR, formerly Countdown to Extinction. The attraction will be rethemed to Indiana Jones as part of Dinoland USA's transformation into the Tropical Americas, set to open in 2027. From cosplay meet-ups and final Restaurantosaurus meals, to long lines and final rides on the CTX Time Rover, it was a emotionally bittersweet day. It was great having so many dino lovers together, all of whom have been inspired by the classic opening day attraction, but lots of tears were shed as the doors to the Dino Institute officially closed. DINOSAUR and the 2000 film of the same name are both sentimental to me, being a big part of my life. It meant so much getting to see Aladar and the Carnotaurus as a kid after seeing them on my VHS tape, and that passion only grew as I learned about the original storytelling that went into the attraction. My last rides were fun, and I had some tearful moments buying my last pieces of DINOSAUR merchandise and just looking at Aladar for my last time with the iconic film score playing in the background, remembering how I felt seeing him on my first visit over 20 years ago. Change is inevitable and deep down, I always knew that Dinoland's time would come. While the land was rich in lore and detail, it was a victim of budget cuts from the 1990s and 2000s. While I wish Disney would improve Dinoland instead of changing it, it doesn't surprise me that they've chosen to put IPs in its place. Indiana Jones is timeless, yes, but so are dinosaurs. I always saw kids and adults enjoying the attraction and checking out the merchandise in the gift shop. DINOSAUR, which thankfully received a huge budget and became a groundbreaking attraction, was the crowned jewel of Dinoland and inspired generations of dino lovers. We really did make it. Thank you for everything, Dr. Seeker and everyone else who brought the Dino Institute and Diggs County to life. As sad as goodbyes are, just remember, "Extinction is forever, but so are the memories." #dinosaur #countdowntoextinction #animalkingdom #disneyparks #waltdisneyworld

Coastin' In Japan July 2025 | Day 7 / Park 11: Nagoya Port Sea Train Land After Suzuka Circuit Saturday night, a few crazy nerd coaster enthusiasts from @coastercrew and Lead Vlogger Jay went on a little excursion to another small park in Nagoya, Japan called Nagoya Port Sea Train Land. It has one small kiddie roller coaster called Family Coaster. It was a fun little coaster with some good airtime for a kiddie coaster! We also experienced a really cool indoor dark shooting ride. There will be NO vlog from this park because we were just there to ride the coaster and the dark ride. It was a nice small charming Japanese seaside park!
