During my Advanced Movement class on Monday, I talked to the kids about not being a part of the 90%. Most people in most places will not work the way you work, think the way you think, or move the way you move. We’re pushing to be the 10%. We’re pushing to be the people of action. We are pushing to be the people who aren’t afraid to dream then fight like hell to make it a reality. This conversation with my students reminded me of this video that I made a while back. Just wanted to reshare it. Here’s to the 10%. ☺️🤎 #NotADancer

From day 1 of little @ella.schadwil absolutely killing it as the youngest person in my senior hip hop to becoming a mature mover and a lovely person who is diving into her senior year. Ella, I’m excited to see what you do this year. Let’s gooo! 🤎

P.S. I know the year just started but I don’t think I’m ready to handle the amount of graduating seniors I’ll have to see off after this season comes to an end. lol

Where do I start with this one? @lillymclements has always been such a lovely mover, but rarely do I get the pleasure of not only teaching her but also the refreshing joy of watching her do my choreography. As I was watching this video, I said to myself, “Wow. I hope she dances for a very long time.” lmao Thanks for lending your time and your artistry. Your take on this combo was beautiful. 😍🤎

I absolutely loved getting to work with these guys! We did a lot of drills and worked on key pieces that could take their dancing to the next level, no matter what level you’re at. I hope they take these lessons with them and allow the rest of the world to see how brilliant they are through their movement in the near future. Great job today, my little notadancers. 😌 Hope to move with you again soon! 👏🏽🤎 #NotADancerTraining

Yall know I adore this nugget Gigi - Here’s her beautiful perspective of my choreography. Gigi, I’m proud of your hard work this year and this summer during my clinic. You’re something special. 🥹🤎 Thank you for sharing.

Extended Caption: Her, as well as a lot of the kids her age are entering an era where they’re starting to show that they really do want more out of this whole dancing thing. Which is very exciting. This one has been very vocal about wanting to be better, and has been following that up with action. The ball is rolling for these kids now! Let’s see where they take it!
