This project has been in the works for the last 18 months.

Cob and I spent that time going back and forth, sharing songs we cooked up, verses, and instrumentals. We only met in person once to figure out the overall goal of the project, but we had countless phone calls about where we wanted it to go, what each track needed to accomplish, and how the story needed to be told.

“Crayons” was the first song we recorded, and we made the majority of these cuts within about five weeks. Then life got busy. We sat on the project for a while and, naturally, almost forgot how good the work we put into it really was. Coming back to it reminded us why we started in the first place.

This also feels like a new chapter musically for me, as this is my first release under the name Ceej. I’m excited for the amount of music I already have finished and ready to drop, and I’ll be releasing it as this project marinates with the people who give it the listen it deserves.

I’m grateful to have collaborated with an artist like Coblin, whose pen game is beyond anything I could fit into a paragraph describing this tape.

Far From Home is all it needs to be—five songs, front to back, that never stray from the objective. Every line was written and delivered with the intention that it would be heard by anyone who enjoys hip-hop.

With that, all I can say is go stream it, and if you enjoy it, share it with a friend or two.

My EP dropped today! It’s called “The Kenzi Tape”. I had written and recorded all the songs in my little room in the basement of a house on Kensington Avenue. I lived there with my boys from late 2020 to early 2024. We had some amazing times, parties, and memories during that stretch. I turned my room into a jam space and put my bed in the closet so the music could live on everyday. I made a lot of music in that time and decided I should finally share a few of my favorites haha. Give it a listen and lmk what you think! Super stoked to have some tunes out and even more excited to keep creating and make a full length album in 2025🤘Thank you to everyone for your love and support ❤️

Today marks the 5 year anniversary of my self released album “Warm Winds, Summer Nights Pt. II” 🎉 Just wanted to take the time to thank everyone who has ever played and supported the tracks off of this album. 2019 was such a pivotal year for me and looking back at it, I’m extremely grateful for the experiences and lessons that came with the creation of this album. Can’t forget that my brother @prod_youngnothing produced every track on this album! I’m so grateful that we’re still creating music together to this day 🙏🏼 Cheers!
