We're forever grateful we have this memory to look back on together so we won't forget the magic created there. We weren't sure if we should share it due to some technical difficulties with the audio recording and it was unfortunately unfixable. Just like all the nights we shared together there though, it was never perfect. In the end we always made it through with countless smiles on our faces surrounded by friends and loved ones dancing the night away. It wouldn't feel right not to share it with everyone who was there or supported us over the years to relive it despite the imperfections. Cry because it happened 🥹

already damn near on to the third weekend of June is crazy. before I get overwhelmed and say fuck it, here’s a mega dump of weekend one aka Pittsburgh Pride Weekend. 5 events in 3 days, 3 of them The MoB’s very own. I knocked out two more events last weekend, so no wonder everyone been asking me how I’m still standing up (spoiler alert I’m definitely not right now).

so many people to shout out but I’ll save it for the end of June wrap-up. no pause in the momentum at the moment; here’s where to find me *this* weekend:

I had to throw up a memories post with Cobra officially closing last month.. it's hard to say goodbye to a space that was so pivotal for the city's DJ & dance community the last few years. I always had a blast in this room whether it was attending or DJing, and ended up spending many of my Saturday nights on that dancefloor. I had the pleasure of hosting a few events here as well and got to bring in some touring artists that all expressed the same love for playing in that booth and the crowd that came to dance. It truly was a special spot that will be deeply missed. Thank you so much to all the staff, djs, & community for your hard work and dedication. It's appreciated more than we realize. Cobra foreva

My final performance at @cobrapgh was the full spectrum of emotions and everything I loved about that place all coming together for one last experience beautifully captured by @wuhshi.oda. From tears of happiness, laughter with friends, dance circles, hugs with loved ones, bumping butts, and everything in between. I could feel it all in the air and exuding from everyone in those walls. I will never forget that energy that night. Having @honjaoviolin play with me just made everything even better. A truly fitting end to a special place that meant so much to everyone at @longturnmusic and the dance music community in Pittsburgh. I thought maybe if I didn't post about it then it wouldn't feel real, but I spent some time processing and finally ready to say goodbye...

It hurt a lot at first, but now I feel overjoyed with what we accomplished there and ready for the next chapter despite not really knowing what that is. I'm just grateful we got to do what we did and the time we had together there. The smiles among friends, the incredible sets we heard on those Voids, and the memories we had there I will cherish til the day I die. I am so grateful for anyone that ever came to @cobranights to support us and our mission of bringing house & techno DJs from around the world to our hometown. Your constant messages or heartfelt thank yous at the events truly kept us going, but that's what made it so worth it in the end. To everyone at Cobra for believing in us and giving us the space to create magic there. To all the DJs, performers, artists, vendors, photographers, LDs, etc that ever helped make our events possible, I thank you from the bottom of my heart 🙏

For now I will take this extra time off to figure out things in my own life, build a new business, figure out exciting new things for Longturn, work on my own music again, probably travel, and spend some time catching up with friends or supporting their events that I didn't have time to do before. Excited for whatever adventure the universe decides is next. Let's see where the wind takes me shall we? Hope to have some laughs and hear some good music with you along the way.

A homage to the last two weekend of @cobranights produced my @longturnmusic 💛💛💛 y’all have kept Pittsburgh dancing late nights, provided so many beautiful memories, and blessed so many new friendships. Though this location now rests, @koopmusik will keep @longturnmusic partying on !!! 🙏💛✨✨✨

Photos from Saturday's Last Dance at @cobrapgh 🥹 That was the most insane energy we've ever felt throughout those walls. Emotions were high in all the best ways. We're still in shock honestly of how epic that party was, but we unfortunately have to say our goodbyes eventually 💔

Cobra was the first place we truly felt at home and will always have a special place in our heart. So many strangers walked through those doors and became friends. Friends became family. Some of the best artists in the world came through and shared their music and gifts with us on those Void speakers. We can't thank them and the staff enough for everything they've done for us, the community, and so many others around the city. Thanks to all the DJs who played for us there, @kamajam11 and all the performers, artists, vendors, etc. Those memories live on in all of us 🖤

It feels really strange not to list what we have coming up next at @cobranights, but the show must go on so we'll be testing out a few new places around the city and see what makes sense for us going forward. Thanks for supporting us wherever we go and hopefully a new home some day 🙏
