This week was another one of those great “pinch me I must be dreaming” weeks. I was behind the camera at Boca West Country Club, doing what I love, telling stories and capturing people who are truly masters of their craft. This time, it was the illustrious Colin Cowie. We spent a couple of days filming a multi-part, masterclass-style series exploring the art of hospitality, the details, the service, the instinct, and the passion behind creating unforgettable experiences. Colin and I previously collaborated on his 40-year micro-documentary, which you can find in my profile. Through that experience, I learned so much about the man behind this extraordinary career. Nearly 17 million miles traveled around the world over four decades, creating, entertaining, inspiring, and redefining hospitality at the highest level. When you stop and think about that journey, it’s truly extraordinary. It was an honor to once again have a front-row seat from behind my camera, working alongside Colin, Marc Schwarz, and the incredible teams at Thrive Hospitality and Colin Cowie Lifestyle. And a huge thank you to my crew, all tagged on this post. Nothing happens without the talented people beside me, behind the cameras, lights, sound, and everything else it takes to bring these stories to life. I’m forever grateful for their talent, dedication, and friendship. This week we captured it. Today, the storytelling continues. Now we’re Way Past Wrap. This experience will also be a segment for my upcoming podcast: Way Past Wrap, The Stories Between Wrap & Final Cut. -Photos by Coby and Pedro. #ColinCowie40Years #LuxuryWeddings #ColinCowie #ColinCowieLifestyle #LuxuryHospitality ThriveHospitality LuxuryEvents

This one means more to me than ever. I’ve been fortunate to tell stories for The Miami Project and The Buoniconti Fund for years — stories of people facing the unimaginable, fighting their way back, and finding a new path forward. This year, that mission feels a lot more personal. I’m incredibly grateful to once again be behind the camera for a cause and an organization that means so much to me. A huge thank you to Howard Goldmann and the HG team — Drew and Carol — for continuing to trust us with these stories. Also thanks to Scott, Steph, and Suzy from the Miami Project. And to my crew: Dezi Marino, Pedro Barboza, Guillermo Ursini, and the new guy, Coby Marcus — couldn’t do it without you guys. Principal photography is officially wrapped. Now we’re in the middle of the process I love — finding the moments, shaping the story, and bringing all of that emotion together. We’re in the edit. We’re officially Way Past Wrap.

Hands of Time was awarded Best Sci-Fi Short Film at the @urbanfilmfestivals 🏆⏳ It took a lot of people believing in this idea to make Hands of Time what it became. Filmmaking is never one person. It takes a group of people willing to believe in an idea before anyone else gets to see it. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who believed in Hands of Time and helped me turn something that was once just in my head into a film we can now call an award-winning film. Thank you to the Urban Film Festival for recognizing our work and giving Hands of Time a place to be seen. Next stop: Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. ⏳🎬

Picked the hottest day of the year to do it but we did it. Teamed up with a group of New Orleans’ finest and directed my first scripted narrative work in 6 years. Crazy how the time flies when you’re trying to survive and make it in this business. But i gotta say, it feels good to be back and I ain’t letting another 6 years pass before the next one. Believe that. Nothing but love for all who made this possible, including the amazing cast and crew pictured, our wonderfully clutch EPs, the vast network of community members helping a brotha out, and our amazing mystery producer @leforbusier who couldn’t be there on the day but w/o her this wouldn’t have happened. Much more to come down the line 🙏🏾 Pics by the young goat @cinematickap
