ID-X - Set The Record Straight (2000)

Here's a fun little footnote in hip hop history. ID-X are Jeromie Frost and Lamar Weeden from St. Joseph, Missouri (where Eminem was born) and were recruited by Eminem's mom Debbie to help her with this 3 track EP featuring the title track, an extended version, and an open letter to Marshall read by Debbie.

Jeromie dated people in my social circle so we hung out a good handful of times and even went on Spring Break together earlier in the year 2000 when this CD was released. Solid solid dude!

@cobysucks released a nearly 30 minute YouTube video about this project yesterday and I saw it on Jeromie's social so had to share!

What a time. The gathering of the juggalos was wild. I can’t post half the videos I got so here’s some more tame ones. Was cool that I got to celebrate Doyle’s bday at the gathering. Also amazing that vanilla Ice brought out a ninja turtle if you knew Doyle you’d know how much he loves ninja turtles.

Also wild my buddy moose used a Janice.click film badge to get front row to ICP first performance
