A huge thank you to my friend Courtney @cocoava283 for taking the time to make this video and share How I Found Hope with her family.

When you create something that means this much to you, you quickly realize there’s a big difference between people saying, “That’s awesome, I’ll support you,” and someone actually showing up and doing it.

Courtney did.

Seeing her daughter reading the book, holding Hope, and genuinely enjoying the story is exactly why I wanted to tell Hope’s story in the first place.

This started as a true story about a police officer finding a skinny little pit bull on the side of the road. I never imagined all these years later that kids and families would be sitting together reading about her.

Courtney, thank you for coming through for me and supporting something that means so much to me. I won’t forget it. ❤️

And seeing that Hope stuffed animal sitting right there next to the book… that’s pretty damn cool. 🐶📚

How I Found Hope
A true story about kindness, second chances, and the dog who changed my life.
