I’ve spent a little time today going through these photos and, honestly… WOW.
What a journey it’s been. 🥹

These are 49 memories from our Chat & Eat Night adventures, from 2014 – 2026. Looking back at them has made me realise just how much I/ Potluck Cornwall has achieved.

And this is only one part of the story. These photos don’t include all the Supper Clubs, Foraging Adventures, Bring & Share Potlucks, Host-a-Roasts, Feast Nights, food-related movie nights, cookery classes, collaborations and all the other food-fuelled adventures we’ve created along the way.

Fourteen years of living in Cornwall and I've eaten a heck of a lot of sensational food. 😂🍴

And, I’m incredibly proud to say, a whole lot of return business brought to Cornwall’s wonderful independent hospitality industry along the way.

What makes me proudest is why Potluck Cornwall started in the first place.
It was never just about going out for a meal.
It started predominantly from a desire to help tackle loneliness and isolation, to create spaces where people could turn up, sit around a table with strangers and leave having shared good food, stories, belly laughed and made a new friend or two.

And 49 Chat & Eat Nights later, that still gives me the biggest buzz. I’m so proud of what I’ve built, but I absolutely couldn’t have done it without you.
Every person who has booked a ticket, brought a friend, came along on their own, supported an event, shared a post, recommended Potluck to someone else or simply kept showing up, thank you. 🥰

You’ve helped make this little idea into something much bigger than I ever imagined. So here’s to Chat & Eat No.50 @konabar_ …and then, of course, the next 50 adventures.

I wonder where we’ll end up next…🍜😉

And home, after a full and busy day, ending with a wonderful evening at the @inspiringwomennetwork (IWN) Event 2026.

it was an inspiring night spent in the company of so many remarkable women. Every IWN event brings something different, each one unique in its own way, yet always centred around connection, collaboration, and shared purpose.

A special mention must go to Bev at @cocobeancornwall for the incredible food. Quite simply, some of the most heartwarming meals are made by this wonderful lady, fact!

But what made the evening most memorable were the conversations around the table. Women from different organisations, backgrounds, and experiences coming together with a shared commitment to supporting one another and building meaningful collaboration.

Organisations like the Inspiring Women Network matter deeply on that journey. Because when women support women, we don’t just strengthen organisations.

We strengthen families.
We strengthen communities.
And ultimately, we help shape and change futures.

Thank you for creating spaces where women-led organisations, individuals and communities can stand beside one another, learn from each other, and grow together.

And thank you for recognising the true power of women supporting women.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing we can do for the next generation…
is to make sure their mothers are no longer standing alone.
