I got to see one of my favorite movies of all time in the theater last night for its 25th anniversary. I even wore my skeleton costume that's identical to the one used in the film (I bought it from K-mart a year before the movie was released 🖤).

Went to see Jennifer's Body at @docsdriveintheatre , hosted by @scarah_damselofthedoomed ! 🩸🔪🧛‍♀️
We had a drink at @mama_merlots prescreening, and enjoyed some cocktails and photo ops.
It was a perfect summer night for it. 💨☀️🍹🔪🩸

Best. Movie. Ever.
The original Masters of the Universe (1987) was the first movie I recall going to see with my dad; just us two. As a kid, I didn't know what film budgets were, or what a script was. I just know it didn't look like the cartoon I'd been watching or the many, (many) toys I had been playing with. Since then, I'd always gotten my hopes up when I'd hear rumors of a new MOTU movie in the works. I was consistently disappointed when it always seemed to be only a rumor.
This movie could not have been more perfect. I can't think of a single thing that I would have changed. It was like watching my action figures come to life after all these years. I laughed, I teared up, I sat for two hours with wide eyes and was 5 years old all over again. I wish my dad could have been sitting next to me, but having my own kiddo on one side and the most fabulous partner in the Universe on the other was even more perfect than the movie. I also had a giant power sword that I got to drink out of, so that was pretty awesome too 🤭💙💜

Halloween '25 🎃🖤 Decided to go really creepy and extra bloody this year. I've never worked with prosthetic fx before, but felt like this turned out really well for my 1st attempt. Had a lot of fun making this costume (and not having to speak to anyone). Hopefully I'll have another reason to wear it again sometime.
