In June we marked off another successful Napier-Looby Scholarship Brunch in the books!

Proud to support an event that invests in the next generation of public interest attorneys by providing scholarships for law students pursuing public interest internships. Shocked (see last pic) yet thankful for the recognition by our president for the work we do with the Student Outreach Committee.

Conway Care Packages and Meals For You took our bash indoors this year! Yet, we were still able to give back to the community by giving away 125 backpacks. Thank you so much for all your donations, spreading the word, and always supporting our vision! It’s truly a blessing to give back, and I’m thankful to be surrounded by people who continue to help that vision come alive. Thank you to my board @itheprincess @beccaasloan @elenared22 who I have long meetings with, they have amazing ideas, and pour into our organization. Princess and MK drove from Nashville and had an eventful morning to be present for the event! Thank you @raquelbrown2.0 for providing the food, your partnership, and willing to stand on the corner in the heat. Thank you Reggie, Regence, and Mariana for volunteering and making sno cones. I had way too many. Thank you @childish.colbino for always volunteering your time and helping our event be successful. Thank you @yentl_fits_me for stepping in last minute and being our face painter with a smile on your face! I love my tribe! And once again thank you all for continuing to bless others by believing in our mission. There is still so much more to do to better serve our community. I’m supposed to say something profound... But that’s not what comes to mind. God worked on me the entire month of September. He got me deep in His Word. A friend asked me my goal for this year. I’m thinking ummm I have no idea. Now I know my goal is to cling to what is good. That takes discernment and discernment takes the power of the Holy Spirit.
