*A first for Caribbean motorsport: the Trinidad and Tobago Karting Association partners with CodeF(x) to bring AI-powered driver analytics to Wallerfield.*

The TTKA is proud to announce a groundbreaking technology partnership with CodeF(x) Motorsports for the Nations Cup Caribbean 2026, the first time AI-driven analytics will be deployed at a karting event anywhere in the Caribbean.

At the heart of it is Octavia, CodeF(x)’s driver-discovery platform, which will analyse performance data and give our racers an objective, data-driven picture of how they measure up. This kind of analytical insight, until now, has belonged only to the world’s top racing academies.

It won’t stop with the Nations Cup. Because the event runs in parallel with Rounds 6 and 7 of the TTKA National Karting Championship, Octavia will also be available to our home-grown NKC drivers, putting the same professional-grade analytics in the hands of Trinidad and Tobago’s own racers, from our youngest classes up.

For every driver this is a genuine leap forward and we’re proud that it begins here, in Trinidad and Tobago.

Our thanks to the team at CodeF(x) for partnering with us to lead the region into a new era of the sport.

We love data! The collab between @code__fx and @dxdt_racing is top tier. The team had good pace during the Rolex 24, even leading their class for part of the race. While unfortunately their race was impacted by a DNF, there are surely still many great takeaways from their time on track

Wavey Dynamics teamed up with Code F1 to develop some insights from the 2023 WEC Season.

Looking at individual sector timing for each race, we classified and scored each sector of each championship round in terms of top speed and track curvature, analysed the top three finishers and displayed the patterns in a heat map.

What we found?

Perhaps not surprisingly, sector performance was a very strong predictor of championship finishing position and the championship finishing position was exactly as you’d expect to see from this heat map.

Being able to draw the right patterns out of data can be a deciding factor in the preparation and execution of a race weekend or even the development of a new vehicle.

With Machine Learning and AI models making this more powerful than ever, it’s about to be an exciting time in motorsport!

#BahrainGP featured 36 on-track overtakes vs 37 last year

Alonso's gamble for a late SC didn't pay off, ended up overtaken 8 times

Charles struggled with brake problems and was passed by four rivals

Max and Gasly didn't pass anyone, but for opposite reasons

This data does not include overtakes made on Lap 1 or the first lap of a standing restart.

On track moves for position only, not counting passes made in pits, lapped cars, cars unlapping, on cars off track or spun, team orders etc... Bahrain GP overtakes and overtaken stats

What a year 2023 was for us here at U.M.A!❤️

The LIME workshops across Mumbai and Chennai, watching our students working in the @indianf4championship at the @indianracingleagueofficial with the engineers from @officialmpmotorsport, and then hosting Ian Wright for the 2-day F1 Data Analysis Workshop : safe to say, it’s been a blast!🔥

That made us even more eager and hungry to give back to the community that supported us all throughout last year.
So here’s our thank you present:

The U.M.A Motorsports Month!🚀

An entire month filled with competitions, discussions, expert workshops, AMAs, career counselling and much more!
Something for everyone :)

Do NOT miss this!
Stay revved, tuned and ready❤️
