Finlayson arm 50🥈
10:50:19

Last weekend I raced the Finlayson arm 50 miler just outside of Victoria. After a few tough early season races and FatDog being canceled, it felt really good to finally have a day out there and end up on the podium. This was tough tho holy, 4400m of elevation over 50 miles on some surprising techy terrain made for a brutal day. Couldn’t have done it without support all day from my love @codibateman and the energy of the crews and crowds of this super fun event.

My Summer in the alpine

What a fun few months climbing mountains with some rad people. Racing took a bit of a backseat the year after some cancelations due to fires but it ended up being so nice to take a bit a break from structured training and tick off some routes I’ve been meaning to get to. Stoked to get out a bunch with Codi as well as we transition into a new stage in our lives. This is what being in the Sea to sky is all about and I am really lucky to share it with some good friends. Heres hoping we’re not done yet and we get a solid September!

Gulf islands

A few fun days making our way around the gulf islands on bikes last weekend. Galliano, Salt Spring and a night in Victoria was a pretty awesome way to spend the week off. Ate good food, drank good beer and hung out with friends and fam.

Summer 2025

Full of high and lows but definitely one to remember, raced and trained hard for the first few months and had some epic days in the mountains with some great people. August came and brought a very disappointing showing and my first DNF at the Fatdog 100km. I rolled my ankle very early in the race which led to some torn ligaments and a high ankle sprain. I spent August on crutches and in a walking boot which I tried to make the most of but was pretty tough. Healing up now and still hoping to race the Javelina 100km in October💪 Stoked for Fall and everything that comes with it!

Diez Vista

50km over 2000m elevation, it was a big day out on some tough and technical trails. As always @coastmtntrail put on such a fun event and the weather couldn’t have been better. I had cramping and stomach issues most the way through and didn’t quite get the result I was hoping for but I’m still stoked on my time and how the day went.
I finished 27 overall with a time of 5:12:32
Huge thanks my love @codibateman for keeping me standing and to @tyholtanphoto @liamdueck @wade.ouellet for the photos and ovcourse to @diezvista for an unforgettable day!
