I could not get enough of yesterday. Started with a 5 mile walk and went back in the early evening for a 3 mile paddle. #GeorgeRogersPark #LakeOswego #ThisIsOregon #GetOutside

Most people think life insurance is only for when you die.

But the right policy…
can change what happens while you’re still alive.

I recently came across a story that stopped me.

A young couple.
Doing life. Starting a family.

Then everything shifted.

A diagnosis no one expects.
Stage 4.

But here’s what most people don’t realize…

Because they had the right coverage in place,
they were able to access over $400,000 while she was still alive.

Not after.
During.

That meant:
• Treatment options
• Time together
• Less financial stress in the middle of the storm

This isn’t about fear.
It’s about preparation.

Because the truth is…
most policies don’t include this.

And most people don’t know the difference.

If something unexpected happened in your world…
would your plan actually support you while you’re living?

If you’re not sure, I’m always happy to take a look. 🤍

In today’s episode, I had the opportunity to talk with Nicole Codling, a mother and insurance agent focused on helping people protect their families from catastrophic health events. During our call, I had the opportunity to learn about Nicole’s journey as a single mom working as a teacher, and how she transitioned into construction sales and financial services.

What I appreciate about our time together is learning about the mantras that have kept Nicole going through tough times.
