Are you protecting their hamstring strain, or underloading it?

Early, progressive loading and timely reintroduction of running are key to restoring function after hamstring injury.

This rehab EMOM combines single-leg hip thrusts, long-lever hamstring isometrics, and running initiation to build capacity and bridge the gap back to function..

If you’re seeing a lot of these make sure to reference Martin et al. (2022) and Hickey et al. (2022) for clinical guidance!

Patients with a true stiff elbow don’t come around very often. But when they do, it’s nice to have some go-to self-mobilizations to match your in-session treatment.

Both of these are on/off mobilizations to get those ‘bows loosened up, and this rehab EMOM is best served in short bouts, multiple times per day, to drive long-term change.

Stay tuned next Friday for another rEMOM extremity edition 🔥

TIP TUESDAY | Soreness vs. Pain

Not every ache means something is wrong. But not every pain is something you should push through either!

Soreness after a tough workout is normal. Pain that keeps coming back, gets worse or starts changing how you move? THAT’S worth paying attention to.

Training hard is part of CrossFit, but knowing when to listen to your body is part of getting stronger, too.

Swipe to see Coach Makayla in action!

Makayla isn’t just one of our coaches at Prevail. She’s also a physical therapist with Onward Greenville, helping athletes understand their bodies, address concerns and keep doing what they love 🤎

We’re grateful to have that knowledge and care connected to our Prevail community. Because getting stronger isn’t just about today’s workout. It’s about being able to keep showing up for years to come.

Big thanks to our partners at Onward Greenville!

Never Settle • Always Prevail 💫🤍

We want to figure out why you have pain, not just guess.

If you feel like you’ve been guessing what movements to avoid, what to stretch, what muscles to strengthen, or just hoping rest will fix it. Just know, understanding what’s contributing to your pain can make the next step feel a lot clearer.

You deserve a plan, not another guess.

Subscap related shoulder pain doesn’t need the perfect exercise. It does need consistent loading, intentional dosing and progression over time.

Three exercises. Every minute, a different goal.

👉 90/90 IR pull across → subscap loading
👉 Thoracic extension over the roller → built-in rest + mobility
👉 Banded wall slide → overhead tolerance + posterior cuff work

12 minutes. 4 rounds. Efficient in the clinic, simple to repeat at home.
