6:00am Thursday morning 3 trails ride in Chicago that takes you on a 30 mile @rapha_rcc ride in the backyard of the city. Enter the forest preserve off Kostner and follow the trails. When combined, 3 different trails creates a loop that brings you on and off city streets but approx 20 miles is away from cars. Exit the trail system onto Belmont just west of Western and a short ride back to our starting point @hexecoffee on Diversey. DM if you want to ride in Chicago but don’t know where to begin.

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Rapha Women's 100! Many things about this riding season have been different, but the community coming together stays the same. You all were so supportive and encouraging of each other out there, especially when the hills showed up.

If you're sad you missed this one, watch out for our monthly women's intermediate ride, I post about it here on the club page.

I'd love to take a moment during this Member's Week to shoutout some appreciation for our team of ride leaders. They don the blue and bring you a safe and fun riding program simply because they love to make a space for everyone to ride their bikes together. Everybody is so unique in their ride style, and that is what lets our club have a little something for everyone!

@codyschlabaugh brings you Three Trails weekly every Thursday morning, and City Limits as a special monthly exploration ride.
@bcorotis is your earliest-morning Dawn Patrol weekend warrior every Saturday.
@krbish77 Fast Legs Only™️ with this one; watch out for his rides every Thursday evening and most Saturdays and/or Sundays; but do NOT be late.
@niks_21 ladies, start your engines for Nikki's monthly Women's Intermediate ride, posted on Saturdays!
@webb_arch is your point of contact for RCC Saturday Intermediate rides leaving at a very reasonable hour; and you can usually find this fellow pitching in to ride lead when his teammates are out of town.
@thedooleygroup_compass_chicago faithfully brings our weekends to a close every Sunday morning, with Glencoe Loop.

As the Mishigami race grows so does the team behind the scenes. This was the best year yet and so much fun to watch everyone own their roles and execute like pros.

Thanks to James and the team at @specializedfultonmkt for being home base again this year and all the assistance before, during, and after the race.

@codyschlabaugh with the cinematic video, editing, and thousands of miles in the car as my copilot and right hand man.

@hilitski_victor nailed it once again with his stellar portraits and finish line shots.

@ricebikeracer did an awesome job with commentary on Dotwatcher.cc all week, plus a huge help during packet pickup.

@pumavarela managing the madness that was packet pickup this year and the help on Grand Depart morning.

And last but certainly not least @aaronarnzen and @monicafoltz from @mixed.soil.media with their signature style race coverage and storytelling from start to finish - it was truly spectacular.

Day 4 scenes offered up a balanced Mishigami charcuterie of final pushes from main event front runners to pure jubilation within the Mini-Gami contingent.

All within the scope of the Chicago skyline, we celebrated various ride accomplishments between both race distances as the heat index peaked 100 degrees. Sidewalk stories changed from day to night, but each were rooted in the magic that only a lap around Lake Michigan provided.

Updates from day 5 and the evolving course conditions to follow as we track 17 riders still on course.

Our Thursday Three Trails ride is back on for the season! Join for a quick spin before work, just 28 miles hitting 3 of our excellent trail systems northwest of the city. Rolling out from Hexe by 6:10am at an intermediate pace, the ride returns to Hexe and you can choose to stay and hang out for coffee or keep it moving to the rest of your day! RSVP in the app to join.
