Skatebirds 1 year anniversary was a day to remember. We are so thankful to anyone who has been a part of our skateparks journey. The #battleatthebird contest brought the competitive vibes to our day.

Winter Skateboarding Camp @skatebird305
December 21st-23rd & 26th-30th
January 2nd-6th
9am-3pm

Our camp is for ages 5+. Not only do we skate but we create. Of course the kids learn skateboard tricks but we pride ourselves on teaching them much more. They learn about the skateboard industry and culture. We teach that friendships, growth and fun are essential.

Bear is our September Skater of the Month. He is the definition of a “send it” skater. What a unique and awesome young man!

MEET OUR COACHES
CODY SUAREZ - Head coach
I was born in Atlantic City, NJ area. I've lived in many states in between New York and Florida.
I found my passion of skateboarding at 24 years old. I was late to the party.
-A skater I admire and look up to is Louie Barletta. A pro skater who is the definition of fun. It’s not all about technique, skills and perfection. Sometimes it’s about that smile on your face.
-I have learned how to conquer my fears and not be so cautious through skateboarding. I have learned that being consistent and putting in effort pays off ten fold. I have learned that sharing the love for skateboarding is sometimes all you need to develop amazing relationships.
-Every individual is unique to themselves and treats scary situations differently. If a young skater is afraid I treat them uniquely to how they behave or have reacted in the past. If they are a “send it” type I feel as if I hype them up as much as possible. If they are more of a nervous personality I treat the situation with more gentle support. @codysuarezz @louiebarletta #skatepark #coach #skatecoach #miami #miamiskate #305 #skateboardingisfun
