Last weekend I was one of the lucky few to be sitting on a boat off the coast of Ensenada of the island called Todos Santos on a beautiful sunny day watching men and women surfing 40 to 50 foot waves at The Thriller at Killers contest. Thanks to @garylinden, @puntabrava for a fantastic contest and thank you @gamefisherens and @mavericks_rescue for getting me home safe. @thrilleratkillers @surfline @bigwavechallenge #bigwavesurfingcontest

Meet our newest addition, Duke!

Michele and I have been looking to rescue a dog recently, and we saw this beautiful pup on a shelter website that Callie showed us in Santa Barbara.
Callie and Jesse brought him down to his new home in the South Bay. You can see how surprised I am in the video! Thank you all for making it happen!!!

Congratulations to Grant Twiggy Baker, the 2026 Thriller at Killers Men’s Heavywater Champion.

In an extremely close Final that ended in an exact tie between Grant and Nic Lamb, the tiebreak went to Grant.

Thank you to everyone involved and supporting the event, in particular the water safety and medical team.
