What happens when a group chat full of music lovers becomes something much bigger?

New week, new feature, and this one’s a gem. Meet the incredible @soulvinylspins 💫

She grew up in a house where genres collided, international sounds, classic pop, rock, and blues all under one roof. Her first real musical crush? A certain velvet voice that stopped her at 13. From there, she dove headfirst into the 90s R&B greats, found her love for Hip-Hop in West Coast legends and Texas heavyweights, and never looked back.

Her first big purchase? A CD player and a legendary four‑CD haul that defined her teenage years. She once thought a signed favorite was lost forever, only to rediscover it months later. And her current Top 5 spins? Always rotating, but always heavy on soul, groove, and storytelling.

She also opened up about solo concert memories that gave her chills, her go‑to local shops, and her personal record‑chasing mantra: “If it’s meant for me, then it’s meant for me.” 💛

And because she’s all about community, she gives us a huge list of shoutouts to a whole crew of dope collectors.

Start your week with some soul. Read her full story, soak in the pics, and give @Soulvinylspins some well‑deserved love. Happy spinning, IG family!

From a group chat to New York City. 🗽🎶

Strangers from all over the country, connected by our love for vinyl, finally meeting in person for the first time.

Crazy how a shared hobby can bring people together from miles away.
NYC, we’re coming. 🎧❤️

This past week @labrew_ asked us to join #QuarantineNChill 🧊

Thanks to the efforts of @itspamelamusic, @iamknya, @kiddishkeith, & everyone who tuned in, we were able to raise enough funds for 3,850 meals for @feedingamerica organization🙏
It was fun to hangout & chat with some amazing people while doing it all for a great cause. We are very grateful & hope to do it again!
Thank you to everyone part of this & for your support!🙏 #community #love
