All jokes aside, there’s absolutely ZERO reason to build a wall, “enhance” security monitoring systems, or alter @bigbendnps in any way, shape, or form. Anyone telling you otherwise stands to make money off of it all

The statistics thrown around are that 1-2% of illegal immigrant apprehensions occur in the Big Bend sector, which spans from El Paso all the way into Oklahoma, which a large portion of it residing in and around BBNP.

The coordination, cost, and shear survival skills it would take to traverse this area and make it into the US while avoiding rattlesnakes, mountain lions, javelinas, dehydration, heat stroke, Border Patrol, spontaneous lightning storms, and any other challenge that would accompany such a journey is unfathomable.

The landscape itself is as unforgiving as it is majestic. There’s no need to desecrate this sacred land any more than they already have.

No wall. No vehicle barriers. No “enhanced” security measures.

Leave Big Bend alone. Talking to you @dhsgov @governorabbott @barnard.construction @tedcruz

Dear fellow West Texans,

We wanted to take a moment to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. We are so grateful to have gotten the chance to meet and speak with so many amazing, kind, hospitable, loving and tough people throughout the many towns and remote properties we visited over the past four days. We have been truly touched to the core of our souls with your openness and unity against the offensive assault on you and all Texans and Americans.

We are back home in El Paso exhausted but invigorated and inspired by all of you. Keep the faith. And keep up the fight. We will be doing our part to help as you will be seeing very soon in a visceral and deeply moving way. All using the incredible stories you were willing to share with us.

We are with you and won’t stop fighting to protect this sacred land.

With all our love and respect,
Christian and Zach

One of my favorite things about creating Wild Guess Fest is getting to watch my talented friends shine ✨

There’s truly nothing better than hearing your best friend’s band play, watching their growth, and getting to share the journey with them 🪩🌅🎶

Support your friends. Cheer for them loudly. Share their art. Go to their shows. The people around you doing brave and creative things deserve to feel seen 💖 They might just inspire you to follow your own dreams to and show up for you right back 💛

So proud of my friend @cohlryan for following his dreams. Two years ago, I planted the seed for him to open for @madamradarmusic , and now it’s happening ✨

Go catch him opening for one of my other favorite bands, MADAM⚡️RADAR, on 5/23 at Buck’s Backyard 🤠🎶
