Last trip of the summer!!! My fellow DAF YoY’s and I had the gracious privilege to meet higher up leaders and attend the National MYoY event in DC. You guys blew me away! I haven’t had this much fun at a summit in a long time, and you guys have so many ideas and programs that blow me away. So proud of you all! When I first walked into my center five summers ago, scared and nervous of what this new move had in store. Little did I know, I would meet so many new friends and keep in contact with a whole lot of them. Getting to represent myself and center at the pentagon and through youth of the year, has been one of the greatest experiences of my entire life. Being a military kid shows me how to be resilient and fight my problems head on. I am so grateful for these opportunities and getting to work with so many brilliant teens moves me in so many ways. I have two more years left, and I am gonna show these next two years who’s boss. Just wait, maybe I’ll National Military Youth of the Year.

The program couldn’t be any prouder of this incredible group of seniors 🥹❤️💙

Over the last four years, as they described it..complicated, challenging, chaotic, humbling — they never stopped believing. Through every up and down, drop of sweat, blood, and tears, they trusted the process and helped transform this program’s culture.

The Class of 2026 silenced the doubters, rose above the challenges, and showed what it means to lead with heart. This group believed they would win — and that belief made all the difference. 🙌🏾

Seniors, what a night. What a win. Watching you grow into the amazing young athletes you are has been a blessing and an honor. I love you all more than you’ll ever know ❤️💙

Now let’s go make history…let's make it to STATE this year 💪🏾
