What a beautiful evening we had at the @wagoodfoodguide awards ceremony. We are so proud of our team from back to front and above. None of this could have been achieved without the love and dedication we all have for the hospitality industry and the team’s constant effort to go above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience for our guests. To be named in the top 100 and be awarded one star is truely amazing. It’s moments like this we should never forget! 🫶🏽

Shout-out to some amazing spots in hospitality 📍 Hopper Joint Amazing attention to detail—from the menus, fit-out, crockery, and uniforms, to even the toilet! The food is seriously delicious, and a fun touch is that you need to ring a little bell to get more hopper. @hopperjoint @ronit_victor , well done, team. 📍 Social Eating House I could eat this crab pasta every day—breakfast, lunch, and dinner! The rest of the menu was just as delicious, and the service was impeccable. Thank you @social_eatinghouse 📍 Bam Bam Bakehouse I absolutely love every single treat you make. There’s so much thought and love that goes into the execution. I’m lucky you’re just down the road from me. See you soon and keep killing it @bambam_bakehouse ! 📍 Maha East That food took me on a journey! Strong concept identity, which is something you don’t see enough of. Thank you for reminding everyone that food has a story and is a love language. Don’t change a thing @mahaeast . 📍 Don’s Some people try to be cool, some people ARE cool, and @dons.prahran definitely fall into the latter category! So many little details—from the writing on the walls, the kitchen vibes, to the smart branding. Well done, team, for bringing life to your little bar! 📍 Pidapipo Some ice cream shops are worth visiting, and this one is definitely one of them. You can taste the love in every bite. The staff are fun, and the fit-out is great, so much so that you just want to hang out there. Keep spreading the love @pidapipo_gelateria 📍 Lightyears Good vibes, good food, and good service—these are the three fundamentals of hospitality, and these guys are absolutely nailing it! Caper Food & Culture Festival 2024. That’s a wrap! Mullumbimby born curator @the_lou_dad worked with festival organisers @alxandrataylor and @got_abbiegibson to create an epic line-up of 19 events over 10 days, showcasing top talent and local producers for a well-rounded taste of the Byron Bay region. Our favourite superstar chefs @jakekellie @arkhe_restaurant and Ross Magnaye @serai.melbourne flew in for some fire action at the stunning @threemeadowsbyronbay The community showed up and the good times kept on rolling. There were panel talks, live entertainment, @laphroaig whiskey luge shots, lots of laughter, dancing and non-stop delicious food and drink. Massive shoutout to all the chefs and farmers involved and an extra special applause to @jeddrifai @thenorthbyronhotel (presenting partner), and @caperbyronbay crew @bexbarriball and @camille_castaing for all the hard work going on behind the scenes. It was great to talk to visitors from far and wide who were inspired to visit Byron for the festival after seeing it featured in multiple top-tier publications nationwide. Our minds are already spinning with ideas for next year. Watch this space! 👀
