I do in fact remember the 21st of September!

Vesper Peak! Second attempt and first time backpacking. We got the summit and had so much fun being kids one last time before school starts and we have to be mini adults again.

Weekday Warrior> weekend warrior

Inspired by the goals my mom sets every hiking season, I decided to set one of my own during spring quarter, to do 100 miles of activity. This goal was set in part to help me train for ski to sea and Mount St Helens, but benefited me more than I can imagine.
While I hiked over 60 of these miles solo, I also thank everyone who joined me while I achieved this crazy goal, especially @miettenelson who hiked a quarter of miles with me.

Rainier Retreat! (And disconnect)
I took this trip in February because between conferences, competitions and school I was craving a break. We bought disposable cameras and turned off our phones to just let ourselves have fun. It also taught me patience as I waited for the photos to be developed. This is my second time coming to Rainier and it’s still my favorite national park. If you want to learn more about my Rainier Retreat you can read about it here : https://outdoorelement.com/blogs/blog/adventure-winter-camping-mount-ranier-college-snowshoe-trip
